This is another year of UNICEF's Auction For Action, wherein furniture, figurines, bikes, lamps, arts, designs, jewelry and more items, are for bid. In the benefits of Supervised Neighborhood Play Program (SNP), a simple and home-based early learning program of trained day care workers or parents who teach children and help them learn through organized play, everyday for 2-3 hours in 10 months.
Recently, UNICEF Special Advocate for Children Daphne Oseña Paez, presented the items to the press, bloggers, friends and supporters of the cause, that are displayed at Ayala Museum. Most of the items are colorful and vibrant, limited edition, can practically use, classy and sophisticated. All of which are made by the famous artist here and abroad. They also have books signed by the author themselves ( that I think has a sure bid from me hehe).

"Children learn best through play so making learning fun encourages a child's eagerness to learn. Children who have access to early learning are more prepared for regular school and are less likely to drop out and all our funds for children's programs come from voluntary contributions and this auction provides a venue for people to acquire works from leading Filipino artists and designers and help disadvantaged children at the same time" Mr.Tomoo Hozumi said, the UNICEF Country Representative.
