Since 2005, Coca-Cola Foundation Philippines aims to harness the idealism and energy of the youth to make them active participants in nation building. Through the Coke Barkada program these visions are not far from happening, because youth from different schools are given fund and support they need by the foundation.
Recently, this years' Coke Barkada was awarded to 20 school youth projects that help educational, environmental and healthy living causes. The projects undergone a careful deliberation of applications and now they each received 20,000Php and awarded by Coca-Cola Foundation Philippines and Coca-Cola FEMSA Philippines, under its Barkadahan Grants Program.
The Awarding was spare headed by the Coca-Cola Foundation Phils. Chairman Guillermo Aponte, Coca-Cola Foundation Phils. President Cecilia Alcantara and presented by Coca-Cola Phils VP for Public Affairs and Communications Atty. Adel Tamano.

The organization is one of 20 university student groups selected in the 2013 Coke Barkadahan Grants Program which awards up P20,000 to each organization for projects on environmental stewardship, education, and active healthy living.

The Coke Barkadahan Grants Program is aligned with the global Coca-Cola sustainability farmework, "Me, We, World" which focuses on improving personal well being (Me), building stroner communities (We) and protecting the environment (World).
