The collaboration effort between Ayala Land Inc. and Mos Design presents the Makati Design Series and welcomes Tom Dixon to talk about the global furniture industry, lighting design and how his brands revolutionary manufacturing process contributes to the growth and future of the industrial design. His worked achieved the highest attention globally even the Order of the British Empire has awarded him for his contribution in British Design.
He is the man behind the iconic furniture pieces such as the Mirror Ball, S-Chair, and the Wingback Chair, this items I saw and only introduced to me by my cousin who's taking up coarse related on this collection. I never get failed of browsing his collection through the net after that. So when I got an invite for this, I immediately confirmed.
Design students from various local and international industrial design schools gathered together in one roof to see and know more about the famous man in this field. Everybody was not disappointed and they even had a chance to ask him a question and took a photo with him.
