The first "Weekend Market Road Show" of San Miguel Great Food Club was held at Salcedo Weekend Market at Bel-Air Village, Makati last Saturday May 21. The free cooking demo was conducted by Chef Ernest Reynoso Gala and Jonathan Chua. They prepared 5 recipes which includes San Miguel meat products like pork steak with honey mustard, hawaiian sushi, chicken tim, chicken nuggets teriyaki and franks wrapped in crepe and the finished products are included on the raffle prizes for that day aside from GC's and booth freebies and food samples.
We really enjoyed the fun and also Chef Gala always have a tips for cooking, for instance 'to avoid overcooked meat like on frying pork chop once the piece started to curl you can then clip it to the other side dont make it overcooked and become hard', proper holding of knife etc., I learned so much about cooking , to thinks that it was only an hour of demontration and we also won a Monterey Meatshop 200Php GC on the raffle yeayyy...
