The general entertainment channel will be on Cignal channel 120 where viewers can enjoy hit series and shows airing same day and express from the U.S. including Siren, Bull, FBI, Charmed, The In Between and dailies including Entertainment Tonight, The Late Show with Stephen Colbert and The Late Late Show with James Corden.

The month of June is packed with an exciting lineup for viewers to enjoy. Our beloved mermaid Ryn is coming back with fresh episodes of Siren season 2. The series explores the world of mermaids, far from the sweet, enchanting creatures viewers have seen before.

The coastal town of Bristol Cove, once known for being home to mermaids, is turned upside down when the arrival of a mysterious girl proves this folklore all too true. The series stars Alex Roe (“The 5th Wave”) as Ben, a bright marine biologist who finds himself drawn to Ryn, a mysterious new girl in town played by Eline Powell (“Game of Thrones”), Fola Evans-Akingbola (“An American Exorcism”) stars as Maddie, also a marine biologist who works with Ben, Ian Verdun (“Life’s a Drag”) stars as Xander, a deep sea fisherman on a quest to uncover the truth; and Rena Owen (“Star Wars” Episodes II and III) as Helen, the town eccentric who seems to know more about the mermaids than she lets on.

Blue Ant Entertainment’s newest crime-thriller The InBetween airs express from the U.S. every Friday, 10:35 PM. The story revolves around Cassie (Harriet Dyer) who was born with a gift – though she may call it a curse. She can see and communicate with the dead through her supernatural visions that can help them with their unresolved problems and provide vital clues to detectives Tom Hackett (Paul Blackthorne) and Damien Asante (Justin Cornwell) as they race against the clock to solve some of Seattle’s most challenging cases.

The general entertainment channel also airs blockbuster movies on Thursdays at 9:45PM. This June, the blockbuster movie line-up are Jurassic Park III starring Sam Neill, William H. Macy, Téa Leoni; The Bourne Legacy featuring Jeremy Renner; Rowan Atkinson’s Bean; and The Chronicles of Riddick with Vin Diesel.

Serving the Filipinos in the Middle East via TFC’s “Lingkod Kabayan”

DUBAI, UAE, May 29, 2019--In the past few years, overseas Filipinos are facing different challenges in the Middle East driven by the region’s unique economic and socio-political landscape. Since 2017, some overseas Filipinos in Saudi Arabia and UAE were back to the Philippines after being unable to renew their labor contracts, while some opted to remain and search for new employers. Most of the Filipino service workers continue to thrive but not without the daily risks they face against possible abuses, both psychological and physical.

These are just some of the challenges that overseas Filipinos face in the Middle East and most of them need a platform that could somehow address these pressing concerns. Thus, TFC Middle East launches Lingkod Kabayan (me.mytfc.com), a free community site that provides the empowerment they need by linking them to the right government agencies, providing reliable sources of information, and connecting them to their fellow overseas Filipinos to address the different issues they are facing abroad.

“True to our core of serving the Filipinos worldwide, TFC launches the community site Lingkod Kabayan to look after the welfare of the overseas Filipinos in the Middle East. We hope through this community site, more overseas Filipinos will be empowered as they have within their grasp the knowledge and information that they need for their life overseas,” said ABS-CBN Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) Managing Director Joseph Arnie Garcia.

Recently, the implementation of the Saudization intensified as more jobs were banned from the expats to give way to the Saudi nationals. Outside Saudi Arabia, the current economic state of other countries under the Gulf Cooperation Council pushes overseas Filipinos to seek better opportunities within their host countries. To assist the competent Filipino workforce in connecting with local employers, Lingkod Kabayan (me.mytfc.com) in partnership with Bayt.com launches Trabahanap, a feature in the site with various current job listings to help the overseas Filipinos explore job opportunities in other countries around the Middle East, so they continue to thrive and support their families back home.

In addition, knowing their rights which varies in the different countries in the Middle East and understanding the important provisions in their contracts will help empower the overseas Filipinos. Lingkod Kabayan (me.mytfc.comin partnership with Gulf Law make this information easily available to them through the articles found in the Information Center feature of the site. For similar concerns, Lingkod Kabayan’s (me.mytfc.com) Kabayan Helpline is one chat away and will gladly link them to the appropriate government agencies that will help them with their concerns.

Lingkod Kabayan (me.mytfc.com) is also forging a partnership with Salve Duplito of ANC’s “On the Money” to help the overseas Filipinos have financial freedom by answering questions regarding their finances, investments and other money matters through the site’s message portal.

To help ease the homesickness, Lingkod Kabayan (me.mytfc.com) connects the different Filipino communities around the Middle East through the site’s Suggest Topic feature, where they can talk about anything under the sun—from the Filipino food they miss back home, to the newest hang-out spots they could try around the Middle East.

Making the decision to live away from their loved ones is challenging enough for the overseas Filipinos. It will mean a lot to them to know that even they are away from home, through the Lingkod Kabayan (me.mytfc.com) community site, they have their fellow Filipinos abroad to turn to in the most challenging times in their lives.

Be informed, be connected, be empowered--visit Lingkod Kabayan (me.mytfc.com) today.

PETRON MARKETING WINS GOLD IN PR AWARDS SOUTHEAST ASIA 2019

Petron Corporation was the Gold winner in the Best Event-Led PR Campaign category at the sixth annual Southeast Asian edition of the PR Awards, which was held at Swissotel Merchant Court, Singapore.

The win is for the Petron TriAction Performance Run Regional Roadblock, which highlighted the value of having integrated, real-time media and social media PR coverage to magnify Petron’s performance run in the Philippines’ southern provinces. With the majority of campaigns focused in Metro Manila and Luzon, the regional roadblock was an game-changer as local TV, radio and social influencers provided real-time updates and excited audiences as the performance run made its way from Mindanao, across the Visayas, and back to Luzon. A first in this category, the campaign addressed the brand challenge of creating relevance, engagement, and gaining market share in target provinces.

The Petron TriAction Performance Run (Mindanao to Manila Edition) was held last May 2018 with a caravan of eight vehicles which took off from Davao City and traversed key cities including Malaybalay, Bukidnon; Cagayan de Oro City, Misamis Oriental; Iligan City, Lanao del Norte; Ozamiz City, Misamis Occidental; and Dapitan City, Zamboanga del Norte in Mindanao. Crossing over to the Visayas Islands, the run proceeded to Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental; Cebu City, Cebu; Toledo City, Cebu; Cadiz City, Negros Occidental; Bacolod City, Negros Occidental; Iloilo City, Iloilo; Kalibo City, Aklan; and Malay, Aklan. From there, the caravan traveled through Bulalacao, Oriental Mindoro and Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro to catch a ferry to the port in Batangas City for its homecoming to Manila. In all the major stops, local media and influencers joined the group, acting as guides and highlighting the attractions in their localities. At the same time, they were able to interview the drivers about the performance of Petron Diesel Max in all types of road conditions.

Under the direction of Petron’s Brand Marketing & Advertising Department, the award-winning regional media roadblock was arranged by media agency HuddleRoom. The actual run was organized by Great Minds Media Inc., with official observers from the Department of Energy and the Automobile Association of the Philippines. The Department of Tourism also provided support in key cities.

The “Best Event-Led PR Campaign” category is one of the most coveted, with the highest number of entries. In the final judging, Petron was pitted against leading brands such as Heineken Malaysia, UnionPay South East Asia, Dyson, Singapore International Cyber Week 2018, Fujifilm, Singapore Discovery Center, and Vivo City & Walt Disney Company SEA. The champions for 2019 were chosen by an independent judging panel comprised of high-caliber senior marketing, public relations and communications professionals from reputable brands.

Earlier this year, the Petron TriAction Performance Run (Turbo Diesel Edition) also earned a Silver Anvil for “Pubic Relations Program Directed at Specific Stakeholders – Consumers” in the 54th Anvil Awards organized by the Public Relations Society of the Philippines.

Game of Drones: 3rd Flight is one such event, which provided FPV (First-Person View) pilots and drone enthusiasts an opportunity to show off their flying skills without having to wander far from the city, thanks to Industria’s wide open spaces which is ideal for those who love to fly drones.

The contest covered three categories – Time Trial, and the Rotocross finals, all of which allowed participants to battle in various contests for supremacy of the skies.

Runners-up were Jerico Taleon and August Gatchalian Jr. Rotocross is a spec class game. For this, participants were again grouped into batches of four for the elimination round. They flew their drones through a marked course, and the racers who finished first per batch moved up the ladder of eliminations. For the third year in a row, champion Jerico Taleon received a P20,000, a trophy, and a LowePro bag.

Runners-up were Gabriel Villaver and August Gatchalian Jr. Lastly, a Drone Photography also took place as an opportunity for photography enthusiasts to take breathtaking aerial shots within the Circulo Verde vicinity. This gave them the freedom to unleash their creativity using their drones. The top submitted entries were shown at the venue for judging, and the winner who took home P5,000 was Lawrence Samaco.

Drone hobbyists, enthusiasts, novice racers, and those who just want a taste of some outdoor fun were present to experience and watch as the drones battled for supremacy of the skies.

Industria is located within Circulo Verde, Calle Industria, Quezon City, an active lifestyle and entertainment destination that has become a haven for those who love one-of-a-kind adventures. Beautiful. Strong. Confident. These are the traits that Poten-Cee, the official vitamin partner of the 2019 Bb. Pilipinas, is looking for in its first ever Bb. Poten-Cee Gandang Palaban. Pascual Laboratories, Inc. (PascualLab), makers of the #1 Adult Vitamin C brand Poten-Cee (based on the latest IMS Report), recently announced its search for the Bb. Poten-Cee Gandang Palaban through its subsidiary, Pascual Consumer Healthcare Corp (PCHC). The lucky winner will be chosen from among this year’s Bb. Pilipinas candidates and will be awarded during the Binibining Pilipinas coronation night on June 9, 2019 Sunday.

PCHC Marketing Head Beth Sheba “Pepsi” Alacar announced this during the ladies’ visit to PascualLab manufacturing plant, where she expounded on what makes one a Gandang Palaban. Alacar said: “PascualLab has partnered with Binibining Pilipinas to award the young lady who truly exemplifies how the Filipino woman of today can face her responsibilities and challenges with grit and grace, be trusted to deliver what is expected of her, and feels empowered to rise above any occasion. And, whoever wins the crown this year, we hope you bring the same spirit of Poten-Cee’s Gandang Palaban with you wherever it may take you.”

Gines Enriquez, head of Binibing Pilipinas Charities, Inc. (BPCI) shared: “The partnership will enable the organization to build relationships with brands such as Poten-Cee that have wellness and health in mind. He added: “Both BPCI and Poten-Cee are Pinoy-based institutions that are set out to empower the modern Pinay who are beyond beauty and who exemplify health as well. “

During the candidates’ visit and engagement with Pascual Laboratories, the ladies already showcased their Gandang Palaban. The candidates were eager to learn more about Poten-Cee Vitamin C and its dual benefit of beauty and immunity, how it is made, how to arm themselves against sickness and other challenges, and what they can achieve with a healthy lifestyle.

The ladies toured four areas of the manufacturing plant, as well as the rest home of founders Isosceles and Leonora Pascual, which is located at the back of the Bulacan property. The 70’s- style house has been transformed into a museum, showcasing memorabilia and other items of importance for the Pascual family, and from PascualLab’s history.

HOME CREDIT PHILIPPINES' MY HOME CREDIT APP YOU NEED FOR FINANCIAL TRANSACTIONS

Nowadays, money is not the only thing that makes the world go round, technology does too. So what happens when you mix both?

Home Credit Philippines’ My Home Credit App is an example of one good thing you get when you marry the two. The app, which has been installed in 1.5 million smartphone users, is the digital gateway to the consumer financing provider’s products and services.

Having built itself as a market leader in the industry by providing installment loans to those who used to have no access to it, HCPH is now digitizing their products and services—with their mobile app at the heart of it. Check out the list below to know all the cool features of the app.

1. Get payment reminders, loan updates, and check payment history.

Tracking due dates can be a little challenging so the My Home Credit App made it easier by sending notifications for payments. Customers are reminded of their payment dates a few days before they are due and they also get notifications during the day itself in case they missed it. Loan details such as the remaining balance and payment history are also available via the app’s interface. It’s like having a personal loan manager on your mobile.

2. Chat with an agent.

Get instant access to a Home Credit agent via the app through the live chat feature. Those who have downloaded the app no longer need to make long phone calls or wait for an email reply with this function that instantly connects them to Home Credit.

3. Get access to additional products.

Eligible existing customers have the option to apply for an additional cash loan or credit card on top of their existing loans through the My Home Credit Mobile App. For the cash loan, the customer only needs to click the Apply Now button, fill up their details, and wait for the result of their application. Once approved, they can easily pick up their cash from any Home Credit partner store in two business days. Customers who are eligible for a credit card, on the other hand, will be automatically directed to the customer service hotline to apply.

4. Apply for app-exclusive products.

A cash loan without any lengthy papers and dozens of documents? Eligible new customers can have access to this by applying to the app-exclusive cash loan of Home Credit. The process is as simple as it gets. Customers only need to hit the Apply Now button, key in the promo code needed to unlock the loan offer, and provide their loan preference and personal details. Pre-approved customers will be notified of the results of their application within one hour* and be asked to visit the nearest Home Credit partner store to verify their identity with a sales associate.

5. Apply for auto-debit payments.

Keeping track and making payments can be a hassle for some, so the My Home Credit App gives customers the option to set auto-debit payments for their loans. The mobile app user only needs to provide their bank account details to allow automatic deduction from their account and skip going to payment centers.

Excited to try the mobile app? You can download the My Home Credit app at the Play Store now. You can also visit our website at https://www.homecredit.ph/ or follow our Facebook page at https://web.facebook.com/homecreditph/ to know more about it.

*applications after 9PM will be processed the next day.
