Araneta Center, together with Courageous Light,
remembers the purposeful life of the late Caitlin Lucas, also known as
Courageous Catie, with a photo exhibit entitled “A Journey of Hope” happening
on August 6 to September 3, 2016 at the Gateway Mall Activity Center
and Gateway Gallery.
Netizens remember Caitie as the
courageous 3-year-old who battled juvenile
myelomonocytic leukemia (JMML), a rare cancer of the blood affecting infants
and toddlers. Before her untimely death, Catie captured the hearts
of thousands when her mom started the Facebook page, “Courageous Caitie,” the
young girl’s story of strength and faith.
Celebrate on what would have been Caitie’s birthday during the grand launch of the photo exhibit on August 6 at 1:00 p.m. at the Gateway Mall Activity Center.
