"Slam the Scam" launched recently at the Shnagri-La hotel and attended by the SLAMCI president, Security and Exchange Commission rep, media and investors. This is a gathering of people to help and spread the SLAMCI's response and concern in increasing prolifecation of investment scams in the country that affect not only Filipinos but the economy of the country as well.
"Anybody could be a victim, unless they know what to look out for. This is why we're launching 'Slam The Scam' said SLAMCI President Valerie Pama.
Financial literacy advocate Matte Guidicelli also shares his experience to gain financial literacy. He manages and invest his money wisely. He learned everything from his parents and he knows how important it is to entrust one's money with a company that has a good record and integrity.
"It's a chance for me to use my reach to help out our hard-working kababayans so that they won't get victimized" he said.
