Fifteen years ago, an epic love story was witness not only in the Philippines but also in various parts of the world. A story focused on love but evolved about the family, struggle, honestly and survival of each character.
"Pangako Sa'Yo" is a 2000-2002 hit soap opera from ABS-CBN Network. The TV series has the highest rating almost every night of its airing. Filipinos was captured by the love story of Yna Macaspac (Kristine Hermosa) and Angelo Buenavista( Jericho Rosales), from the first time they meet, fall in love, hurt and more.
Today ABS-CBN once again brings back the story that our parents kindheartedly love and we will surely relate now in one way or another. The remake of "Pangako Sa'Yo" will lead by the biggest stars of today like Jodi Sta. Maria as Amor De Jesus-Powers, Angelica Panganiban as Madam Claudia Zalameda-Buenavista, Ian Veneracion as Gov. Eduardo Buenavista and of course the comeback of the famous Teen King & Queen of todays generation, Daniel Padilla & Kathryn Bernardo aka KathNiel.
"We are so happy and proud po na kami yung gaganap bilang Yna and si DJ po si Angelo, naririnig po talaga namin na napaka successful ng teleserye at ngayon po medyo pressure syempre kami na sana mabigyan namin ng justice ang role" Kathryn said.
"Napakagaling po ng mga kasama namin dito at napakasyerte namin sa mga director na bumubuo nito" Daniel shared.
Both Kathryn and Daniel are very great actors of today, especially if they are together in one project. They help each other to enrich their acting and ability to be bring out the best in them.
"Very comfortable na po talaga kami sa isat-isa na parang wala ng hesitations, nasasabi ko na po yung mga gusto kong sabihin at gawin. Nagtutulungan po kami sa bawat eksena" Kathryn divulged.
"Yes po comportable napo kami sa isa't-isa, halimbawa po yung balsa scene kahit malaki pa po ang tiyan ko dun okay lang, tumaba po kasi talaga ako nung nag US kami eh, tapos nagdiet po ako para sa scene din po na iyon, okay naman po normal naman" [laughs] "normal na maghubad hehe.. hindi po talaga malaki pa din ang tyna pero ngayon po tuloy-tuloy pa din ang diet" Daniel said.
