ABS-CBN's The Voice Kids Ph's second runner-up, Darren Espanto is all set to conquer the stage of Mall of Asia Arena. The Darren Espanto D Birthday Concert will be on May 29 Friday, 8PM. Special guests includes Mitoy Yonting, Jason Dy, Alisah Bonaobra, Robi Domingo and Bimby Aquino.
The 14 year-old (May 24) total performer will show other talents that he has aside from singing, evident on his self-titled debut album under MCA Music. Until now featured singles "In Love Ako Sa'Yo" and "Stuck" are reigning the airwaves.
"I'm so excited and at the same time nervous kasi MoA Arena na po ito eh and I hope all the Darrenatics will get a chance na makasama ko sa birthday celebration ko o na ito. This is a celebration, our celebration with music and dancing po, so magsasay lang po tayo dito" Darren said.
Recently bloggers had a chance to talked to the very humble Darren at MCA Music office Raffles Building, Ortigas Center. He divulged some information about his concert like the guests, but most of it are surprises, since this is a birthday celebration, he is the one who will surprise his visitors.
Since Darren is still a child, he has playmates and brothers in the industry like Bimby Aquino, who committed to guest on Darren D Birthday Concert.
"Si Bimby po, parang little brother ko na so ako po yung personal na pumili sa kanya, since he can now sing and dance as well as Kuya Robi, naging group decision po namin na kasama po sila sa celebration kong ito" Darren shared. "Marami pong medley and I'll be doing some acoustic songs, ballads and dancing, this is the most dancing I've done before" he added.
