 Today, LG Electronics globally unveils the most highly anticipated LG G4 smartphone in six cities including New York, London, Paris, Singapore, Istanbul and Seoul. Approximately 1,000 guests around the world gathered to witness the successor of the LG G3 which excelled in all sales charts and industry recognitions. Among the first users of the LG G4 will be 4,000 lucky customers who will receive the coveted smartphone as part of the company’s largest-ever consumer experience campaign.

Unrivalled design

The LG G4 is available in handcrafted, full grain leather in six beautiful colors. The vegetable tanned leather is not only environmentally friendly but also luxurious, using genuine leather instead of the usual faux material that other smartphones use. Other material options for the G4 rear cover are pure Ceramic White with 3D patterns, artisan-forged Metallic Gray and lustrous Shiny Gold.

The comfortable elegance of the LG G4 is a refreshing change from the uniformly flat, full metal designs that have been become standard across the industry. Superb visual experience

LG designed the 16-megapixel camera in the LG G4 to capture stunning images even under less than ideal lighting conditions. LG improved low-light performance even further with OIS 2.0, which doubles the performance of the OIS+ by expanding the range of image stabilization from one degree to two degrees on the X- and Y-axis and adding a third axis for the first time.

Just like DSLRs, the LG G4’s Manual Mode allows experienced photographers to exercise more artistic expression by directly controlling the focus, shutter speed, ISO, exposure compensation and white balance for every shot. Advanced photographers can also save their photos in RAW format, in addition to JPEG, for more precise editing with no loss of details.

The advanced camera in the LG G4 is complemented by Color Spectrum Sensor (CSS), the first feature of its kind to find its way into a smartphone. CSS improves color accuracy by precisely reading the RGB values of the ambient light in a scene, as well as the infrared light reflected from objects. Ejay Falcon for "Maalaala Mo Kaya" Brave 44 episode

A tribute of ABS-CBN's "Maalaala Mo Kaya" for SAF 44, is a two-part episode which started last Saturday April 25, highlighting the character of Police Senior Inspector Garry Erana played by Coco Martin and his fiancee Suzette played by Angel Locsin. This Saturday May 2, the life of Police Senior Inspector Rennie Tayrus will be shown .

One of Kapamilya's promising hunk, Ejay Falcon will be portraying PSI Tayrus. "Maalaala Mo Kaya" Brave 44 episode will show how family and country loving sir Tayrus is. It will reveal details on how his family support and believed in him despite his decision in life.

I asked Ejay one last question about his learning/s on the character of PSI Tayrus and he says "Mas minahal ko po ang mga magulang ko, tapos po narealized ko po talaga na life is short, so mahalin mo yung mga nag-mamahal sa'yo lalo na ang pamilya/magulang mo, kasi yung character ni Tayrus ganun talaga sya eh, tapos natutunan ko din po na kaming mga artista kagaya ko wag magreklamo sa simpleng puyat sa trabaho kasi may mga iba na mas mahirap ang pinag-dadaanan at nasa bingit ng kamatayan para mabuhay ang mga mahal nila sa buhay."

Coco Martin's unforgettable experiences making "Maalaala Mo Kaya" #MMKFallen44

The Prince of Philippine Independent Films, Coco Martin will take another acting challenge as he portrays SAF Police Chief Inspector John Garry Erana, one of Fallen 44. 
"Maalaala Mo Kaya" Fallen 44 will be a two part episode that will be seen this Saturday on Kapamilya ABS-CBN.

Coco Martin shared unforgettable experiences doing his second project on "Maalaala Mo Kaya" (MMK). From the vest with almost 35 kilos in weight to the intense feeling specially the Mamasapano fight scenes.

"Isa sa hindi ko talaga makakalimutan yung vest yung mga pinapasuot sa amin, mga 35 kilos yung timbang, yun po yung talagang sinusuot nila at lalong mabigat kasi may magazine at baril pang hawak. Kung hindi ka talaga sanay talagang mahirapan kang tumayo at babagsak ka" Coco said.

Aside from SAF heavy clothing or vest, Coco divulged that he and the other cast found hardship in a lot of activities like running, crawling and firing big guns.




"Sabi ko nga talagang pag-gagawa ka ng MMK dapat handa ka emotional and physical, hindi ka talaga pwedeng maglaro, talagang yung dedikasyon dapat andun"

"Another thing is yung pagod, konti lang yung tinatakbo namin pero hingal na hingal na kami na parang kabayo, kasi nga po mabigat at delikado ang pakikipaglaban"

To make things cooler on the set, the cast lead by Coco had a common language or cheer for everyone. "Pag naglolokohan nga kami sabi namin para ito sa sining, para ito sa bayan kasi nga natatapos kami pagod at halos alas dose na kinabukasan napo natatapos."

Though the shooting took around  five days at Lumban Laguna, it replicates the Mamasapano place from the river, corn fields and all. One Meralco Foundation, Philippine Marines, Sparks team up for ‘Football for Peace’

Meralco’s social development arm One Meralco Foundation and football team Loyola Meralco Sparks are once again teaming up with the Philippine Marine Corps for the annual “Football for Peace,” a sporting event which hopes to hone the football skills of children from conflict areas in the ARMM as well as other provinces where the Marines and the Philippine Army are deployed.  The goal of the festival is to instill the values of sportsmanship, camaraderie, teamwork and discipline in the minds of these young athletes so that they grow up as productive and peace-loving citizens.

More than 200 kids from Sultan Kudarat, Misamis Oriental, Sulu, Zamboanga, Tawi-Tawi, Basilan, Lanao del Norte, Cagayan de Oro, Negros Occidental and Palawan were flown to Manila by the Marines for the weeklong event. The kids are grouped into teams and in each team, a civilian and a Marine coach are assigned. They are set to compete with various football clubs from Metro Manila and other nearby provinces in a one-day tournament dubbed “Football for Peace Festival,” which will take place at the football field of the Philippine Marine Corps in Fort Bonifacio on Saturday, April 18.

In preparation for the festival, the kids will undergo a football clinic with the Loyola Meralco Sparks on Wednesday April 15, at the University of Makati Stadium, West Rembo, Makati City where members of the team will teach the young athletes advanced techniques that could help them gain an advantage over their competitors.  Also, brothers Phil and James Younghusband of the Sparks will meet with the kids during the training.  

One Meralco Foundation and the Meralco Sparks have been partners of the Philippine Marines since the launch of “Football for Peace” in 2011.

“It is a great honor for us to be chosen by the Philippine Marine Corps as their partner in this inspiring initiative. Our shared belief of building the skills of our young people to become responsible, productive and peace-loving citizens will hopefully lead us to a better country.  OMF's participation in the Football for Peace program is a concrete expression of our commitment to youth development through sports,” said One Meralco President Jeffrey O. GAME OF THRONES returns April 13

The Emmy and Golden Globe winning HBO series, Game Of Thrones returns to the Philippines starting April 13, 9AM same time as the U.S. for its newest ten episode fifth season. 

The members of the celebrities, media, bloggers and avid fans of the TV series had a chance to watch the first episode of Game Of Thrones fifth season and it was great, many characters will return and more. Just save the date oki :).

Isabelle Daza is ready to take on her first ABS-CBN TV series

The newest Kapamilya Isabelle Daza will take her talent to a new level by joining the cast of "Nathaniel" with Gerald Anderson, Shaina Magdayao and the newest child actor Marco Masa.

"I am so happy that I'm here now on ABS-CBN together with my dearest friends and of course my mom. More so I am excited to be part of "Nathaniel" alongside with the great actors of this generation like Gerald and Shaina. I am working harder to prove myself as an actress." Daza said.

As an actress, a continues study and workshop is necessary to hone and master the craft, Daza also shared that she undergoes workshops and study her script thoroughly. She even consult the help of her mom on her decisions and said that her mom is her number one fan and detractor but in a constructive way.

We all know that Isabelle came from the other station but she clearly describe how is it working in ABS-CBN, particularly with Dreamscape for "Nathaniel".

"Working with ABS-CBN is, I've seen very meticulous sila sa lahat ng mga detalye which is very good because they will deliver true and real life happenings, with the staff naman they are all friendly and accommodating and when it comes to the actors, they are more competitive, I think that is a good environment for me because you are push to be better actor as well" Daza divulged.

"My role as Martha is a fiancee of Paul (Gerald), I don't wanna reveal much but my role is very challenging, medyo kontrabida pero may bawi din sa end" she said. "I think my character is so far from my personality but with the help of the staff, co-actors and director, I survived every take" she added.

Expect to see more of Isabelle Daza on ABS-CBN as she shared that she wants to achieve a body of works that she could be proud of and as her mom says "you have to make something na tatatak sa puso ng mga tao".
