KZ Tandingan is a product of a reality music competition X Factor Philippines 2012. As the grand winner of the said competition, KZ continues to offer good music. She is a mainstay performer at ASAP on ABS-CBN every Sunday that recognizes by people for each performances. She also joined Himig Handog: P-Pop Love Songs, "Scared To Death" 2013 and "Mahal Ko O Mahal Ako" 2014.
Today Star Events announces that KZ will be having a first major concert at the Music Museum on 17th of April. The concert will be showing all sides of music that KZ can do, a genres that is never been seen performed by her.
"I am very excited and at the same time grateful that I will be having my first major concert, ipapakita ko po dito yung mga iba't-ibang kind ng music na I'm sure hindi pa din po napapakinggan ng tao from me" KZ said "I am more confident to perform right now, specially nung sinabi ni Ms. Annie (music mentor in ASAP) na kahit ano daw yung kantahin ko napapakita ko na daw po yung kung ano ang music ko".
I remember the time of X Factor Philippines (which by the way part of my weekly coverage as a blogger), KZ was an early favorite week after week of performing different types of genre on stage like jazz, rock, ballad and even rap. She showed an excellent talent in music all through out the competition and was given times of standing ovation (that includes me of course).
"I need to study all the songs, I need to talk to the band na kung paano pulsuhan yung kanta na hindi pareho sa the usual na ginagawa ko, from lyrics to tamang timing dapat po pag-aralan talaga" KZ shared "As an artist, everyday I need to learn things and not settle for one thing or style kasi nagbabago po and music is evolving also, so I need to change on what the audience or generation want and need to hear".
From living in an ordinary life, KZ is now known even in other country due to ASAP's out-of-country shows. But she always give back and share what she is gaining from the entertainment industry, in fact she donated 10% of 1M that she have won at The Singing Bee contest last year and recently finished their house also have a car for the family.
"Bago palang po ako sumali sa X Factor nagpapagawa napo kami ng bahay, tapos dun po sa three years pag meron po biyaya nagpapadala po ako at nagshashare sa family for our house, kagaya po nung nanalo po ako ng 1M sa Singing Bee, 10% po sa church, yung naiwan nag downpayment po sa van, graduate napo yung isang napatid ko so may kapatid pa po ako na 9 years old, sya nalang yung ba-brasuhin namin ng family ko sa pag-aaral"
KZ Tandingan has so many talents to offer in the music industry from her great voice, unique style and good heart. She really has a place in this industry and let us all witness and support her at her first major concert at the Music Museum, Ortigas Avenue, San Juan City on Friday April 17, 8PM.
