Malacañang Palace recently announces that on January 15, 16 & 19, 2015 is a special ( non-working) days for National Capital Region (NCR) this is in connection with the visit of the Head State of the Vatican City, Pope Francis next year.
Pope Francis itinerary includes the majority of the Metro Manila specifically:
January 15 - Arrival at Villamor Airbase
January 16 - Malacañang
January 16 - Manila Cathedral
January 16 -Mall of Asia Arena
January 17 - Tacloban
January 18 - University of Santo Tomas
January 18 - Luneta
January 19 - Departure at Villamor Airbase
