Hi friends this is our much awaited season, the celebration of Christmas and welcoming the next year with a bang. I am sure, you are as busy as me for reunions, gatherings and bonding with our significant ones.

Merry Christmas to all of you and let us all celebrate the birth of our savior, no other than Jesus Christ, that's where the Christ-mas is celebrated every year right?. 

Happy New Year, yes it is 2015, the year of the Sheep according to Chinese Zodiac, it will basically starts on February 15, 2015. 

Let me wish you and your family a Merry Christmas and Prosperous New Year. This is also my time to spend time with my family, relatives and friends. So that means, it is my sort of, digital time-out, hopefully no blogging until January 2, but I will be sharing my life with you through Instagram and Twitter @ning4u.

learn how to speak love in "English Only Please"

"English Only Please" top billed by Jennylyn Mercado and Derek Ramsay is the official entry of Quantum Films for the 40th Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF). Showing on Christmas day, December 25, the movie will let you fall in-love again.

I had a chance to watch the movie together with the film's actors, director and supporters at SM Megamall Director's Chair. A comfortable lazyboy seats and cozy atmosphere welcome us all in the venue.

"English Only Please" is indeed a story of love not only for the significant ones but also the love for your family, friends and even the ones who hurt you. You will learn not only english, but also how to love, let go and accept the things that happen in your life.

I like how the movie give importance to the family, a love that is unconditional, immeasurable and overflowing. I think people should watch this movie mainly for love in all aspects. Check HERE on how the cast share about the movie.

Derek's charm in the movie is really admirable though he didn't show his abs or biceps here, but you'll witness the sweetest smile he has in this movie. I love him more in this movie, because he portrays a good man.

Jennylyn is equally exceptional in beauty and acting, to think that this is her first time to do this kind of character and she excelled on it. I just don't like her wearing low cute tops and shorts whenever she visits her students in the movie, because she is a teacher or tutor, she should wear more teacher like i think?! (here we go, the conservative in me) but I like the colors of her clothes hehehe...

I find the film longer than I expected it to be, I think the scenes and dialogues are longer than the usual, since some of it is relevant to the story, maybe it's worth to hear.  

I like the director's clean shot and focusing specially in every conversation, as if you are one of them. Also Iike the way it was edited, no loop holes nor confusion on events, like what I observed on some Pinoy movies of today.

I just don't like the part wherein dictionary-like segment is present every now and then because it interrupts my focus or viewing on the screen hehe...

So if you want to learn how to love and feel the kilig this season, watch "English Only Please" starting December 25. Directed by Dan Villegas.

Richard Yap for "The Amazing Praybeyt Benjamin"

From the success of the longest morning TV series "Be Careful With My Heart", Richard Yap as Ser Chief is now entering the limelight in the official entry of Star Cinema and Viva Films in this year's Metro Manila Film Festival, The Amazing Praybeyt Benjamin. 

"This film is full comedy talaga and it has a lot of fun on the set, puro komedyante and kasama ko and this is one of the thing that I want to do again" Yap said.

Richard Yap's recent project is light drama and family oriented, in this movie he has to push his self beyond the limit and shift into full comedy. He shared that since his director Wenn Deremas has a mastery in comedy and assisted him into sequences as well as his co-actors in the movie.

Yap's role in the movie is General Wilson Chua, the father of Bimby (played by the son of the Queen Of All Media Kris Aquino, Bimby Aquino-Yap), and the superior in the military status of private Benjamin Santos played by no less than the unkabogable Vice Ganda. 

"I had no hard time doing my role because, I when I am in CAT, I am technical sergeant that time so I know the discipline, act and training of being in a way parang military kahit papaano. But in this movie more on entirely different naman, more on operations ako dito, more on comedy talaga dito" Yap shared.

At first this movie is not supposed to be the movie that Vice and Yap talked about and due Yap's busy schedule in his recent TV series and its movie, the plan was delayed last year, since Vice will be having an entry for MMFF for the third time the offer came out.

"Meron talaga kaming plano ni Vice to do a movie last year pa and since busy (Be Careful...) at nagkamovie pa yung series so hindi natuloy, and now Vice told me about this film, sabi ko sige, oo ako kaagad" Yap divulged "So ito tuloy na ang movie namin at talagang magiging masaya sila at marami akong ginawa dito na hindi pa nila nakikita, sana magustuhan ng movie goers" he added.

I'M sure this movie will be a hit and will reign in the festival on December 25. See you all in cinemas.

A chat with "Wansapanataym: Wish Upon A Lusis" stars, Julia Barretto & Iñigo Pascual

Early this month Maalala Mo kaya (MMK) surprised us with a promising love-team, Julia Barretto & Iñigo Pascual or JulNigo. After which, they gained so many positive feedback and of course opens so many projects. In fact JulNigo will be opening the year 2015 with sweetness, lessons, realizations and everything in between.

ABS-CBN's weekend primetime program, Wansapanataym: Wish Upon A Lusis, will starred by the freshest love team of Kapamilya network, Julia Barretto and Iñigo Pascual. Many are marking their calendars as the episodes will start on January 11, 2015. 

The story of an orphan girl (Julia) who is given a box of lusis fireworks sticks. She has an admiration with a famous singer (Iñigo). Find out how she uses the lusis in order to be with the man she admire most.

But before that, I together with my co-bloggers had a chat with the stars of the incoming episodes of Wansapanataym. They shared how excited they are working together for their second project. In fact they taped some of it and happy about the outcome.
Both teen are just starting in showbizness, specially Iñigo which enters the industry just recently, and since Julia entered first, she explains everything for Iñigo.
"Since nag-simula po ako mag-enter ng showbiz last year, ngayon alam ko pong naguguluhan sya at nahihilo minsan sa mga pangyayari, so I explained to him yung mga bagay-bagay na alam ko na, yun po kasi yung hinahanap ko dati yung may magsasabi sa akin ng mga bagay-bagay tungkol sa work na ito" Julia said.

Sweet Julia shared that even before Iñigo entered the industry, they are really friends, reason why she find it comfortable working with him. They knew each other since then and with the same age they have, they can relate whatever it may come between them.
"Even before pa po, friends na kami ni Iñigo, so wala na po yung ilangan sa set, in fact napakakulit po nyan sa set, like one day, I really want to sleep, tapos sya, kinukulit nya talaga ako, so hindi ko sya pinapansin hehe, may time po kasi talaga na I want to sleep lang" Julia divulged "Pero most of the time bonding po talaga kami we both love Jollibee burger and pizza hehe" she added.
We all know that Iñigo is the unico hijo of Piolo Pascual, but he is making his name specially in music, which is his first love before acting. Iñigo also made his first film titled "Relaks It's Just Pag-ibig". Now he is entering the mainstream media, with the promising Julia Barretto.

"I like Julia, she's so sweet and help me a lot in so many ways, she explains things for me and I appreciate our friendship more now than before" Iñigo said. "We're excited for this project and I hope people will appreciate it" he added.
Iñigo shared a lot of changes, specially in his lifestyle or everyday routine, but he and his dad find time for each other as well as for his friends.
"Yes it change a lot, I've been doing a lot of guesting, mall show, taping, tv shows and photo shoots, It's cool but I am not use to it yet and I try to learn a lot" Iñigo "I feel so awkward sometime pa din, I'm still learning thing out" he added.
Iñigo see his father as a role model for the young actors and that includes him, he really like to be his father and as a mentor in singing and acting, I am sure he will be walking in his father's footsteps.

"Mas madami pong pinag-uusapan mga projects next year, although medyo magpapahinga po muna ako on the first quarter of 2015, but an album, a collaboration concert again and shows will be lined-up and announced nest year po pag-naplantsa na" Yeng divulged.

Habitat for Humanity Philippines for International Volunteers' Day

As a part of Habitat for Humanity Philippines' (HFHP) Online Champions, we are to share, influence and of course volunteer to the activities of HFHP. December 6 is the International Volunteers' Day a perfect day to reignite the spirit of volunteerism, camaraderie and leadership in nation building but due Typhoon Ruby which hits Visayas and parts of Luzon the activity was cancelled. But it didn't stop the time to share the spirit of Christmas to Habitat’s communities that held yesterday December 13.

At exactly 9AM a small program started at Bistekville 1, Payatas, Quezon City, one of HFHP's recipient village that houses teachers and homeless families. Together with the HFHP Managing Director and CEO Charlie Ayco and with celebrity ambassador of HFHP Alden Richards, the activity of making Christmas decor like "parol" made of recycled materials like straws were done, joined and volunteered by the online champions and HFHP home partners.

"Volunteerism not only change the life of the one you are helping but also the life you are living for. Life it is more meaningful if you are helping and volunteering in your small little way" Ayco said.

It is indeed a fun and meaningful activity shared with everybody with smile on their faces. They can celebrate Christmas at their our home with "parol" and memories of making it. Just like me, I gave the one that I made to one of Bistekville residence and left me with a hug and most sincerest smile that I will treasure for life.

You Tube is the most popular video-sharing platform in the world and its YouTube Rewinds provides a forum for people to connect, inform, and inspire others across the globe and acts as a distribution platform for original content creators and advertisers large and small.

Recently YouTube Rewind (Philippines) announced the Top Music Videos of 2014 (HERE). Music videos of singers like Katy Perry (Dark Horse), Jason Derulo (Wiggle), Psy (Hangover), Taylor Swift (Shake It Off), Iggy Azalea (Fancy), Meghan Trainor (All About That Bass), Counting Stars (One Republic), Chris Brown (Loyal), Nicki Minaj (Anaconda) and of course our very own, Yeng Constantino (Ikaw) on the 6th place are pinoy's most watched videos of 2014.



Congratulations to the Pop Rock Princess, Yeng Constantino for another achievement in the music industry. The "Ikaw" (carrier single of "All About Love album) music video is under ABS-CBN Starmusic that has a whooping 10,369,994 views as of this moment. This is another pride not only for our favorite performer Yeng, but also the recognition of OPM nationwide.

The Pop Rock Princess will soon be releasing her newest album titled "All About Love" with it's carrier single "Ikaw" under Star Music (Star Records Ph). It will be having a press launch on Friday, so expect that I'l be sharing more of Yeng's album oki :) Stay inlove guys :)

The Popstar Royalty Sarah Geronimo has been dominating the music industry since she started her career. In fact the recent achievement she receive was on the release of Disney Channel Asia'snew music video for Disney Princesses "The Glow" around four days ago and gaining a positive buzz and views on You Tube.

Today YouTube Rewind also announces the Top Trending Videos for 2014 and Sarah Geronimo's version of "Let It Go" is included on the list. Sarah made it to the list of YouTube Rewind's annual Top Trending Videos and again receiving a non-stop praises for singing the theme song of Disney Hit Movie "Frozen" which originally sang by Idina Menzel. The video is from Sarah's production number at ASAP published by ABS-CBN Entertainment last April 5, 2014.

Kim Chiu, Xian Lim and Ai Ai De Las Alas starrer “PAST TENSE” is TFC@TheMovies Japan’s initial salvo

Like a movie that has its beginning, middle and end, TFC@theMovies has a story to tell that began in the U.S. and which now unfolds in Japan.  Inspired by the Filipino’s love for movies, moved by their touching stories and driven by its continued thrust to serve the overseas Filipino across all forms, the premier network in the world, The Filipino Channel (TFC) recently launched TFC@theMovies in Japan this December. 

The beginning
Launched in November 2011, TFC@theMovies first moved overseas Filipinos around the world with its first venture, “A Mother’s Story,” a story of an overseas Filipina’s challenged to keep her family together while she struggles to make ends meet in a foreign land.  Since then, TFC@theMovies has been screening blockbuster hits from ABS-CBN Corporation movie production and distribution company Star Cinema.

The storyteller
From its initial foray, ABS-CBN Global Head of Theatricals John-D Lazatin is pleased to see TFC@the Movies rolling out in Japan.  “When I first presented the TFC@theMovies to management, the story seemed like a concept made straight out of a movie.  Now, TFC@theMovies is launching in Japan and like the movie in my mind, TFC@theMovies has its own story to share, with a beginning, a climax, sometimes a twist and then a happy ending.”  Lazatin adds, the launch in Japan is not the end but is definitely part of the continuing narrative that is TFC@theMovies.

The transition
Years before, TFC has been treating Filipino movie fans in Japan to Friday night screenings of Star Cinema’s well-known films via “TFC Movie Nights.”  Selected TFC subscribers were treated to movies including the accompanying popcorn, for them to enjoy the best in Filipino film and the company of Kapamilyas, all for free. Starting this December, TFC@theMovies will take the ‘movie date’ a level higher as it brings well-loved movies to the silver screen.

The highlight
This week, TFC@theMovies drew the curtain for the season’s anticipated film “Past Tense” featuring Kim Chiu, Xian Lim and Ai-ai delas Alas.  “Past Tense” takes on a unique story of a two women who engage in a love triangle by some twist of fate.

MY BIG BOSSING for Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF 2014) , showing December 25

MY BIG BOSSING is set to be showing in cinemas on Christmas day December 25, the official entry of M-Zet Films, APT Entertainment and OctoArts Films in Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) 2014. The comedy anthology movie starred by the child superstar of this generation Ryzza Mae Dizon, Bossing ng Bayan Vic Sotto and Kapuso Primetime Queen Marian Rivera.

My Big Bossing is a three episodes leaded by a little girl (Ryzza) who dreamed to be a "Sirena" directed by Tony Y. Reyes, got scared on "Tatak" directed by Marlon Rivera and destined to be a "Prinsesa" directed by Bb. Joyce Bernal.

At the recent bloggers conference happen at Guilly's Restaurant QC, Ryzza shared that she love most being a sirena (mermaid) because first of all, this is a dream come true to her. 

"Gusto ko po lahat ng naging character ko, pero po natupad ko ang pangarap ko nung naging sirena ako, kasi po pangarap ko po talaga yun eh, tapos nag-aral po talaga akong lumangoy at sisid, nag-scuba lessons pa po ako para sa movie" Ryzza shared.

"Kung tutuusin, si Ryzza talaga ang sumulat ng sirena, isa sa mga pantasya nya yun eh, so consider talaga namin yun kasi gusto nya at napakagaling nitong batang ito, yung mga eksena at scene dun karamihan galing kay Ryzza talaga eh". Vic divulged.

My Big Bossing is different from other movies that Vic made, which has one story only but because they want to offer this with the kids, they expanded their idea and took the risk of making three episodes just to give fun, happiness and unforgettable movie for children.

"Kaya naging parang three stories to kasi unang-una gusto nyang maging sirena, tapos gusto din namin yung horror na pambata tapos yung prinsesa nga is para sa mga bata kasi itong movie pata mag-enjoy silang lahat, specially the kids" Vic said.

To complete the cast are Nikki Gil, Alonzo Muhlach, Nino Muhlach, Paulene Luna, Wally Bayola, Manilyn Reynes and Jose Manalo.

I'm sure kids will love this much awaited movie of the year offered by Ryzza and Vic. Don't forgot this movie to be on your top list for the MMFF 2014. See you there :)

#Y, a Gino M. Santos film, showing on December 10 by Star Cinema

#Y is awarded as the Best Cast Ensemble at the recent Cinemalaya X, now it reach the mainstream theater that will be showing on December 10, release by Star Cinema. Starring Elmo Magalona, Coleen Garcia, Slater Young, Kit Thompson, Chynna Ortaleza and Sophie Albert. Directed by Gino M. Santos and written by Jeff Stelton.

The movie is about the life, adventures and struggles of generation Y that is greatly influenced by the social media and the YOLO (You Only Live Once) ideological lifestyle. The life of youngsters of today that we all should know and understand. United in one goal to survive and get out of the shell to experience life to the fullest.

At the recent press conference happened, the cast shared that the movie gave them freedom to express what is the real situation of young adults of today and portray their life as well as understand not only by them but by everyone.

"I hope people will watch it, because it will show their favorite idols in the showbiz industry, portray different and unique character that can also be relate to them" direk Gino said.

Direk Gino graduated digital filmaking from De La Salle University and enrolled filmmaking workshops at Asia Pacific Film Institute, Marilou Diaz-Abaya Film Institute and New York Film Academy as well as Kyoto, Japan. He showed what he got on the films he made like "The Animals" (2012) and "Island Dreams" (2013) which both receive awards and recognition.. 





The cast of the movie proved that direk Gino is really a director of the future. The whole #Y movie was made within six (6) days only. The cast shared how easy to work and be one in the movie under the director.

"I auditioned for the role and I am happy, kasi they have the process the if you auditioned and your really fit the role, they will stick on their decision" Chynna shared.

"Very light lang yung trabaho namin sa movie na ito, para lang kasi kaming nag-lalaro, mag-babarkada, so walang pressure sa set, so kaya siguro we could express on what we got as an actors" Coleen divulged. "Direk Gino kasi has been my friend since we were 10 years old, we both pa ramp model, kasi from the start comfortable talaga ako kay direk, but I went though the whole process, nag-audition ako" she added.

"First movie ko po ito and direk Gino really gave us freedom to show our acting ability in our respective characters, walang pressure, he was so cool and very relax and magaan lang" Sophie said.

"Very open si direk Gino in terms of suggestions and recommendations, I always ask him about this and that and he has an open mind to consider and try everything" Slater revealed.

"For naman the experience was super light lang, the difference with direk Gino is, alam na alam nya yung direction nya sa movie, alam nya yung gusto nyang gawin or makuha, yun yung nagustuhan ko, and nung napanuod ko ang film super sakto sya" Elmo said.

Understand the life of #Y, relate with them, cry with them and join each chracters situation and have an open mind.
