Happened earlier at the Podium Cinema which was attended by my co-blogger, some Team KCG members and graced by the Chinita Princess, Kim Chiu, we all know she's been to bunch of block screening all day but make it to Podium as well even in the middle of bad weather and heavy traffic.
Past Tense is a drama-comedy movie, not like we all expected according to the trailer. The first part of the movie has a fast pacing in order to show the happenings on the friendship of Belle (Kim) and Babs (Xian) so you better not blink that eyes of yours, to not missed the details. But savor the moment at it becomes slow as they show the details on how Babs fall in love with Belle and Belle with Babs (prepare your handkerchief also).
I do agree with direk Mae at the blogger conference happen last week HERE, when she said that Kim and Xian become mature as an actors. Specially in the drama part of the movie "hindi pa tumutulo ang luha nila, ako oo na hayz", I can really see it at their eyes (Belle and Babs) that they love each other but because of what happen in the past, they still hurting. Still love reigns, you'll see :), an inspiring love story to watch for :)
It is also an inspiring movie specially for me because I can relate to the character of Babs, a fat (chubby lang!! **winks) man who is longing to love or accept by the people around him despite his appearance. It is not that I am not accepted by many, specially by my husband, but sometimes people are mocking you, which lessens your self confidence. Now I am inspire to continue my diet-exercise routine naks :).
On the other hand, I can tell you that it is a happy ending and will leave a big, fat and chubby smiles in your faces. If you want to learn to leave the past, value the present and prepare for your future, do watch the movie. It offers more surprises and kilig moments not just from KimXi tandem, also from Ai Ai and Ser....basta heheh...KIIIILLLLIIIGGGGG....
