We Are All God's Children is written by the Inspirational Diva herself once she heard the news about Pope Francis to visit our country for the Papal Visit 2015. She wrote the song and submitted to the Archbishop of the Roman Catholic Church of the Philippines and president of Catholic Bishops Conference of the Philippine (CBCP) Socrates Villegas s, the official partner of Papal Visit 2015. We Are All God's Children was approved by Archbishop Soc Villegas and the Vatican City.
"When we heard the news, as early as May palang that the Pope Francis will be arriving by January 2015, so nilakasan ko ang loob ko kay Archbishop Soc Villegas, at nagsabi kung pwede ako gumawa ng song for the Papal Visit, and he gave me the theme, Solidarity with the poor, Mercy/Campassion to the Weak and make an action video" Rivera said.
"I did the song for two weeks, non-stop reading, researching then I gave it to Mr Noel Espenida who now the composer and arranger of the said song and submitted to Archbishop Soc Villegas" she shared.
Today preparations for the 2015 Apostolic Visit of Pope Francis to the Philippines are set, including the official music action video of the song "We Are All God's Children" made by the Ligaya Ng Panginoon Community Youth. All are encourage to have knowledge about the actions for the song and participate to do it once the song is played, to inspire others.
"I am really hoping that people can relate to the song and serve as an inspiration to many people even after the Pope visits the Philippines and I really made this song for Filipinos, mahal ko ang Pilipinas" Rivera divulged.
They also encourages the Catholic churches to know the keys for the "We Are All God's Children" song. Every words of the song is really inspirational and can easily remembered.
