Kapamilya actor, Enchong Dee is now a certified recording artist with the release of his self-titled album under Star Records Philippines. With the first release of his carrier single Chinito Problems last month and stilldominating the airwaves until now. Dee proves that he has a place in the music industry.
Enchong Dee album has six tracks including Chinito Problems, Seloso, Isip O Puso, Tambalang OMG (his duet with Alex Gonzaga) and Step No, Step Yes (VST & Co. original). All the tracks in the album is a feel good music, dance-able and upbeat.
"Very personal yung pagkakapili ko ng mga songs, hindi ako nag-paka Martin N. or rapper, ito talaga yung mga songs na gustong-gusto kong gawin, na kahit pakinggan ko sya ng ilang beses hindi ako magsasawang pakinggan" Dee shared.
Step No, Step Yes is originally sang by VST & Co., and Dee even met Joey De Leon, for a courtesy and to inform that he modernized the song.
"Yes kanina after ng show nila sa Eat Bulaga, inantay namin talaga sya sa bahay nya (Joey De Leon) tapos binigyan ko sya ng album ko, tapos sabi nya sige pakikinggan ko agad ito mamaya, sabi ko pa tito Joey menordernized lang namin ng konti yung song (Step No, Step Yes) tapos may rap pero meron din extended version (bonus track) sabi nya sige okay yan, kay Tito Vic naman pag-nag much yung schedule namin soon mabibigay pugay din ako" Dee said.
Since Dee is into music now, he's planning to have a second album soon and a collaboration with Daniel Padilla and Paolo Avelino will be push through. This is an exciting album not only for the fans of Dee as well as Padilla and Avelino.
"Yes sa susunod na album plano na at napag-usapan na namin minsan ni Daniel Padilla na mag-kocollaborate kami as well as Paolo na napakabait din at payag din sa pag-gawa ng album together" Dee divulge.
