The director who are known for making comedy and romantic-comedy film, Wenn V. Deramas, now took the challenge to make a horror movie, MARIA LEONORA TERESA. The movie will exactly be shown on Wednesday, September 17 in all cinemas.
Before the movie hits the theaters nationwide, we had a chance and talk direk Wenn. A bloggers conference happen at Star Cinema, ELJCC Building ABS-CBN Compound Quezon City. Complete with bloggers who supports the movie, the afternoon was full of information and details came from the director of the film.
"It is my first time to do a horror film, like other movie process, dumadaan sa mga story telling, meetings and all. But this time syempre its different specially sa execution of script that was made" direk Wenn shared.
Direk Wenn divulged that they have nine (9) children in the movie, three (3) are the main casts and the other six (6) is for the execution of harder stunts and they gave chance for others to rest, since they wear mask and prosthetic, viewers will never be recognize the difference.
"Since mga bata ang involve dito, iniingatan talaga namin sila at ginagawa lang yung mga bagay na pwede sa kanila, at strict and DOLE ngayon sa mga oras ng pagtatrabaho ng bata, sinusunod namin iyon."
I also asked, what was the hardest part in making a horror film or the part of the film he find hard to execute and he answered "Siguro ang masasabi ko lang sa ngayon ay abangan nyo yung last part ng movie or near the end, kasi talagang dun kami natagalan kasi binusisi talaga namin yun. Halos four (4) days namin iyon ni-shoot, talagang mahirap, magulo, madugo at talagang dun yung pinaka kumbaga high-lights talaga ng movie kaya abangan nyo yun."
