The Soul Diva (The Voice Philippines) Klarisse De Guzman released her self-titled debut album two months ago and it gained high on demand, the songs are played on the radio and even used in one of ABS-CBN's Teleserye (Mirabella). Now she is preparing for her concert entitled "The Voice of Klarisse De Guzman: Live In Concert" that will be happen on August 29 at Teatrino, Promenade Mall.
Truly Klarisse is soaring high after The Voice Ph, from being a member of Star Magic Philippines, ASAP's mainstay, mall shows etc. ASAP's Homegrown Diva's dreams do coming true right now, from joining singing competition at the age five and continues to join belting Celine Dion's hit, until now her vocal prowess reigns on stage.
"Lahat po ng singing contest sinasalihan ko, simula po five years old sinasali na po ako ng daddy ko, minsan may kasama pang sayaw kaya po nanalo ako" [Laughs] "Natatandaan ko po talaga pag-kumakanta ako nung bata ako itataas ko yung kamay ko tapos kekembot ako at sasayaw habang kumakanta" Klarisse shared.
Klarisse also shared that she undergoes hardships first in foremost in her weight, she said that she is chubby and lose weight because in the industry it is more accepted if someone is fit.
"Opo chubby po talaga dati, tapos sinikap ko po na magpapayat talaga kasi syempre sa industriya na'min dapat small size lang kasi nakikita din sa TV at yun po yung dapat para sa health po namin dapat fit po" Klarisse divulged.
Klarrise De Guzman album compose of eleven (11) songs including "Di Kayang Pilitin", "The Climb", "Slowly", "(Everything I Do) I Do It For You", "Sino Ka Ba", "To Love Somebody", "Sayang Naman", "Stuck On You", "Magpakailanman", "I Can't Make You Love Me" and the bonus track "Sabihin Mo Sa Akin" (Mirabella).
