I've been to Vigan City, Ilocos Sur so many times and when ever I visit the place, I can't contain my excitement every time I get a chance to explore the city. From delicious food, remarkable sites, historical landmarks, magnificent architectural designs, old churches and of course the people of Vigan.
Today I am very happy to know that one of my favorite places in our country is included on the list of finalist for the New 7 Wonders-Cities of the world. Out of 1,200 cities around the world, Vigan City, the lone nominee from the Philippines, emerged as one of final 28.
Please let us all VOTE for it to make to the top 21 this month (July), then for top 14 on October until they will announced the New 7 Wonders-Cities on December.
All we have to do is to visit https://www.new7wonders.com/en/cities and choose 7 cities from the finalist but make VIGAN as our number one city, then share VIGAN on Facebokk, Twitter, Google Plus and Tumbler.
You can also VOTE through text by sending VIGAN to 29290777, it will cost you 2.50Php/text, but it is more economical and will gain more votes, if you send VIGAN5 for 10Php/text or VIGAN10 for 15Php/text to 29290777.
So we can do this!! If we did it on Puerto Princesa Underground River as one of New 7 Wonders of Nature in 2012. We can make it for Vigan City this time :).
