The Ultimate Heartthrob Crooner, Paolo Onesa finally releases his album "Pop Goes Standards" under MCA Music. His journey for being one of the finalists of The Voice Philippines taught him a lot of knowledge in singing and knowing his voice especially from his coach Bamboo. Though Paolo took the 9th place in the competition, MCA Music saw the potential in the 20-year old crooner.
"Pop Goes Standards" composed of songs the young crooner sings like the most loved pop songs in his signature style. The album composed of ten (ten) songs including "Lucky In Love", "You Are So Beautiful", "Make You Feel My Love", "Just My Imagination", "Marry Me", "You're Beautiful", "When I Was Your Man", "Which Way, Robert Frost?", "Skyfall", and "Elesi".
"I think as of the moment this is my biggest achievement, I believe that every singer dream na mag-karoon ng album and now, that I have my own , so ito po talaga ay isang dream come true for me, I feel so blessed and I promise you that, magugustuhan nyo po talaga ang mga kanta dito" Paolo shared.
Paolo admitted that, when he started to sing, he does not know what type or kind of genre his voice is, but when he joined The Voice Philippines and with the motivation of his coach in the competition, he finally found the exact one.
"Nung una po talaga hindi ko alam kung saang genre bagay ang voice ko, kanta lang po ako ng kanta, pero malaking tulong po ang The Voice and syempre si coach Bamboo po kasi from there nalaman po namin and I am very thankful po, lasi mas comportable na ako kumanta ang I now have my own identity" he divulged.
Now that Paolo knows the path to take, I think the way to success is also waiting for him. With his kind attitude, great determination and unique voice, I'm sure no one can stop him from achieving his goal in the industry.
