Last Saturday March 1, me and my blogger friends cover an event, the 5th Philippine International Pyromusical Competition (PIPC) between France and Japan. The SM Mall of Asia, SM by the Bay was full of people and ready to see how colorful sky is, synchronized with a song.
This year's Philippine International Pyromusical Competition started February 15 in which two (2) countries every week until March 22, 2014. On its third week France and Japan are the once who reign the sky with colors. Camera's are set-up specially to the photo enthusiast and wowss.. are being practice specially the kid behind me hehe...
France (Brezac Artifices) is the first competitor, established in 1965 and expanding the international market in the 1980's, which when become a consistent winner and known in various international fireworks competitions. For example they won in the 2008 International Fireworks Contest in Macau, first prize in Sanya 2012 Fireworks Competition, gold in The Orange World Fireworks in Changsha and more.
Their biggest show was shown on the 50th Anniversary on Independence of Indonesia in Jakarta with almost 1.5 million expectators.
On the other hand, Japan (Tamaya Kitahara Fireworks Co.,LTD), started only as a toy fireworks business, stays in the business and expanded until they are one of the most awarded display fireworks company in the world.
Tamaya Kitahara Fireworks is different from other fireworks in the world because they maintain to use the traditional method, hand-made. Their list of achievements are growing as the business and their commitment to their job is maintained like in the 21st Macau International Fireworks Display Contest (Champion), Pohang International Fireworks Competition in Korea (Champion) and more.
It is so amazing to see how the dark sky brightens-up by the fireworks display which I am sure took lots of time and effort to make. Each fireworks display had a 18 minutes execution but the memorable experience will remain for last specially for children.
