This year's Jolly University Cook-Off competition has come to an end and hailed the best of the best university in terms and cooking and preparing menu from appetizer, main meal and dessert. Happen at SM Manila, the ten competing university offered their the great effort to cook and prepare food that features cultural heritage of our country.
The University Of Santo Tomas (UST) is the grand winner of this year's Jolly University Cook-Off competition. The university features the food of one of Filipinos indigenous group, Tausug. UST's Frances Charisse Roxas, Martin Tioseco and Deryll Soliman bagged cash prizes, complete Jolly products and a two page feature at Cook Magazine.
"We're so happy that our effort are all worth-it, pinaghandaan pop talaga namin ang araw na ito, practicing almost everyday and nag-papasalamat po talaga kami na kami yung nananalo, thank you to Jolly and other sponsors for inspiring us students" Frances said.
"This is our first year of doing this kind of event for students and universities in the metro and we plan to do this every year to inspire more HRM students to Learn, Create and Share recipes and cuisine of our own" Ms. Marilou Acuña, Jolly Foods Product Manager.
