reasons of VHONG NAVARRO's assault case

Yesterday afternoon, on my way home from a doctor check-up, I overheard people talking about It's Showtime TV host and actor Vhong Navarro, get assaulted and brutally beaten-up by six to seven men inside the vicinity of one of the condominium at Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City.

I got home, immediately opened the television for news and Vhong's case was the headline, though Vhong himself didn't confirm the scenario but his manager and friend director Chino Rono did make an statement that, yes he is beaten-up by men at Vhong's female condo unit in Fort Bonifacio.

The next scene got more chaotic most especially online, opinions on why Vhong got an assault. From there I didn't mind the case, for I have to watch and finish my favorite mystery case files TV series.

Photo I got on Twitter (Deniece and Cedric)

When I have a chance to go online again, Vhong Navarro is trending worldwide and read various reasons for Vhong's assault from people's opinions and speculations. Like drugs, money (utang), jealousy (Vhong went there for a girl), and the worst is he rape the girl.

When Vhong speaks up at Buzz Ng Bayan today to clear things up, especially the rape scenario, which not happen at all. He said that he was invited for the second time (the first was last week) by a girl named Deniece (Denise) Millet Cornejo at her condo and then right through the door a men named Cedric Lee with a gun immediately walks through him to beat him up, belittled and ask for money up to 2M, all he has to do is to cry and give what they want, even went to a police station to file a blotter (Vhong rape Denise, signed).

Personally I don't know what will happen in the next days to come about this case, but I know one thing, whatever people do onto you they did not deserve any harm or more from you, there is an authority who will help you give justice into whatever extend with a right process.

Is Piolo Pascual and Toni Gonzaga "Starting Over Again" ?

From the softdrinks commercial, which Toni says "I Love You Piolo" until today, the two haven't had a chance to reunite again.... until recently Star Cinema announce that Toni Gonzaga and Piolo Pascual "Starting Over Again", yes you heard it right, they do.

The Star Cinema's "Starting Over Again" is a romance drama film about Marco (Piolo) a professor and Ginny (Toni) an Architecture student, who've met and started to fall in-love but ended immediately. Eventually they meet again in a not so free situation with heartache that never ended since then, is there a chance they can "Start Over Again"?.

The above is the official full trailer of the film which gone viral and the official poster (updated Jan 26) and music video is on the works right now. I will share it to you once it's done as well. I love the song as well originally sang by Natalie Cole with the same title. I think Toni-Piolo fans are waiting for this time to come, the two on big screen as they "Starting Over Again".

Directed by the Olive M. Lamasan and showing on February 12 in cinemas nationwide.

"Wait Until Dark", a must see

Repertory Philippines Season 77 started the year right by staging first the thriller written by Frederick Knott, WAIT UNTIL DARK directed by theater veteran Miguel Faustmann.

The story evolve upon the thrilling part of Suzy's life a blind housewife who finds herself terrorized by three strange men. The men is in search for a doll that has been filled with heroin which her husband has mistakenly transported the doll across the Canadian border and into their apartment. Suzy must rely on her instincts, with the help of a neighbor girl Gloria and the cover of darkness to outwit the dangerous strangers and protect her life.

WAIT UNTIL DARK’s masterfully constructed thriller with plenty of intrigue and action promises to move the audiences from one moment of suspense to another as it builds toward an electrifying, breath-stopping final scene.

The actress specially Liesl Batucan (Suzy) mastered the stage and her movements, because as a blind woman it is not difficult to move, it is hard, but she deliver the lines realistically and I am almost at the edge of my seat especially when the stage turned into darkness (you have to watch for it, to know what I mean).

Though Arnel Carrion (Mr. Roat) got the role in three days from initial play date, he really did it very very well. I honestly felt a murderer in him, plus the fact that he's tall and have an eyes that really kills when in character.

I like Dani Gana (Gloria) as well, I first saw her in "Alice In Wonderland" as she played the lead role Alice, I can say that she is the future of the stage. From face expressions, movements, and the way she speaks, she really did well what the stage requires.

This is a must see play, specially to the people who likes mystery case, suspense and thriller story. Star Cinema's Bride For Rent showing January 15

This 2014, in the continuing celebration of Star Cinema's 20th Anniversary, they started the year with a huge bang by having a movie that will touch your heart, change your perception into relationships, tickle laugh buds and warm your emotions. "Bride For Rent" a movie which stars the sweetest couple onscreen Kim Chiu and Xian Lim and directed by Mae Czarina Cruz.

From the success of their first big screen romantic-comedy "Bakit Hindi Ka Crush Ng Crush Mo" last year which dominated cinemas on its showing weeks, KimXian will once again give you another romantic-comedy in a much committed level hehe...yes they will be a wedding ceremony and husband-wife  (Rocco and Rocky) under one roof maybe bed? :).

"We push the romance and the kilig to a greater or higher level and hindi nakakatawa dito si Kim and Xian, sobrang nakakatuwa sila lalo na si Kim, it comes out naturally, just because she is nakakatawa talaga sa mga sinasabi nya kaya masaya palagi ang set na'min" the blockbuster director Ms. Mae shared.

"Actually tuloy-tuloy napo ito kasi in my personal note nag-sisimula napo akong mag-blog, it's www.xianlimm.com" Xian added.

"Ako po si Rocky dito na magiging asawa ni Xian kasi kaylangan nya para ipakita sa Lala (Pilita Corales also shared KimXian really look good together in and off camera) nya na may asawa na sya"

"Sana po ganun pa rin yung makuha naming suporta and hindi naman po sila magsisisi sa mga ipinakita namin dito na para sa kanilang lahat po"

"Sila (fans) po ang key na'min sa tagumpay, mahalaga sila sa'min that's the reasons were doing this all the time" Kim divulge.

This film is more exciting after hearing a lot of sincere things from the heart of the casts, director and writer of the film. Mark your planners and calendars because it will be shown a week from now January 15 in all cinemas nationwide. As Kim's character Rocky said "Isn't it Amazing?"

I'll make another blog post for the movie soon, for the meantime see more photos I took from my mobile phone of bloggers conference HERE.
