Star Magic Philippines' Jessy Mendiola appointed as an honorary Korea Tourism Ambassador by the Korea Tourism Organization (KTO), a government agency dedicated to tourism promotion of the Republic of Korea. The Pinay Maria Mercedes is very happy and honor to be the ambassador, of the country she also love, specially the culture and the people.
Korea Tourism Organization Manila Office Director, Mr Sangyong Zhu said that they are very happy to have Jessy as their Honorary Tourism Ambassador and she is the right person, because she's one of the most popular actresses and models as a rising star in the field of showbiz. More so, Jessy is also one of the most influential celebrities having thousands of followers on social networking sites.
"I like Korea and visited the country for almost three times now and I can say that I myself, inspires more to know it better and through this duty of being an ambassador, I can explore more and promote not only Korea, our country as well being a Filipina" Jessy said.
Korea is very diverse and rich in terms of culture, as an ambassador promotion includes publicize Korean premium tours, beauty and wellness, and cultural heritage.
Previous KTO honorary ambassadors are PSY, Super Junior, 2pm, Miss A as well as overseas like England opera singer Paul Potts and Hollywood star Linsay Price.
