Last Saturday September 25, the cyberspace with more than half a million followers brand ambassador visited Mossimo branches at SM North EDSA. Together with my co-bloggers we witnessed how loved and adored Kimpoy, by his fans which arrived on the venue as early as they can. 

The said store was full of Kimpoy supporters and friends and they got wild when Kimpoy greeted them. More so, the full venue started to get wild when Kimpoy sang songs from his self-titled album like "Ngiti" and "Right Next To Me". The fun continues with screams when Kimpoy dances Gemmi Gemmi and he really dances gracefully.

Kimpoy's achievements includes; 2013 Global Tatt Awards "Trending Twitter Phenom", number one Youtube Leader in the 4th Annual Shortly Awards, Peace Ambassador last year by the office of the Presidential Adviser on the Peace Process, 6th spot on the Pinaka:Sikat na Cyber Celebrities and gain almost 1M views on his song Sana Pinatay Mo Nalang Ako from Philpop 2013.

The lucky 1-millionth Petron Value Card (PVC) holder was recognized in simple ceremonies held at the Petron Sierra Madre gasoline station along EDSA, Mandaluyong City, last 06 September 2013.  The lucky Petron Value Card holder was Ms. Puso Gabiola, a University of the Philippines graduate now working as a brand manager in a food solutions company. Galileo Enrichment Learning Program's storytelling session on October 5

Children are naturally imaginative. Telling them stories fuels their imagination as well as increases awareness of the world that they live in. It also boosts their curiosity about other stories, thus motivating them to pick up a book and read for themselves.

In the Galileo Enrichment Learning Program, reading does not end in learning how to read. The program fosters their love for reading by exposing them with a wide range of topics that would cater to a child’s personal needs and interests.

Coca-Cola joins International Coastal Cleanup 2013

Yesterday September 21, 2013 is the International Coastal Cleanup day, an annual event that spare headed by the Ocean Conservatory. Coca-Cola, the world's largest beverage company, joins and supports this advocacy since 1995 with a goal to reach a 75% recovery rate of bottles and cans and also serves a reminder that proper disposal and recycling is essential to protect the world's waterways and oceans.

Globally, thousands of Coca-Cola family, associates and friends volunteered (including me) and geared-up to help clean the local community as part of the Company's effort to eradicate litter and debris from the world's beaches, inland waterways and oceans. Coca-Cola Philippines and its bottling partner Coca-Cola FEMSA Philippines also present to support the cause.

This year despite rain and muddy road, people gathered together at the Freedom Island in Las Pinas-Paranaque Critical Habitat and Ecotourism area, to clean the coastal area. The volunteers from private and public sectors are also coming one-by-one with shovels, crates, gloves, trash bags, sacks and build a full force to clean. From Styrofoam, plastics and bottles that stayed for a long time in that place, we all collected and put them in the proper trash collectors.

I joined coastal cleanup in the past, but this is my first time to join the team of Coca-Cola Philippines, but the feeling is still the same, as long as you spend your time and effort to clean the environment. The singer-songwriter Marion Aunor releases her self-titled album last Friday, September 20 at Vibe Cafe, Big Shift A.Venue, Makati City. The third-placer winner of the this years "Himig Handog P-Pop Love Songs", is ready to face the competitive world of music with her singing and songwriting skills that make her stand out among other Filipino singers.

At the recent launch and presscon, Marion rendered us her album cover songs like Pink's 'Just Give Me A Reason', but her version is more slow and soulful. She also sang 'Fallen' an original song she wrote and one of the carrier single of her album, with her piano a song 'If You Ever Chance Your Mind'.

DTI Sikat Pinoy Handicrafts Fair showcased regions of our country

The Department of Trade and Industry's Sikat Pinoy Handicrafts fair opened yesterday, but wil last until Monday September 23 at SM Megatrade Halls, SM Megamall, Mandaluyong City. The opening of the fair is leaded by the DTI Under Secretary Ponciano Manalo, Jr of the Trade and Industry Promotions Group.

Almost 300 exhibitors participated on the said fair, from holiday decor, figurines, Christmas ornaments, furniture, bags, shoes, slippers, jewelry, accessories and more. There are also three settings that includes New Products Showcase by Design Center Philippines, Raw Materials Showcase featuring indigenous raw materials and the Christmas Showcase.

The DTI- Bureau of Domestic Trade (DTI-BDT), which is mandated to develop, strengthen and promote the domestic market for micro, small and medium enterprise (MSEME's) invited the Christmas Decor Producers and Exporters Association of the Philippines (CDPEAP) to showcase their products in the centerpiece special setting. Some of the CDPEAP members and other producers of holiday decor also have their own individual booths where they are selling their products in anticipation on the coming Christmas season.

Erik Santos inTENse: A Decade with the Prince of Pop on November 9 at PICC Plenary Hall

"This Is the Moment", the Philippine's Prince of Pop, Erik Santos is celebrating his 10th year in show business and he continues to capture the hearts of many into his music. The Kung Fu Divas, Ai Ai delas Alas and Marian Rivera

A joint production of The O&Co. Picture Factory Inc., Reality Entertainment, Ai Ai delas Alas, Marian Rivera and Star Cinema. A movie that unites Box Office Queen Ai Ai delas Alas and the Primetime Queen Marian Rivera on big screen for the first time, "Kung Fu Divas" under the direction of Onat Diaz.

An action comedy adventure film that is also part of this years Star Cinema's 20th Anniversary presentation. Kung Fu Divas has a  Computer-Generated Imagery (CGI) part, mostly the special effects on the part where the competition between Ai Ai and Marian. That's the reason why direk Onat said that this movie is very extensive and dynamic.

We seen the full trailer of the movie at the blogger conference happen recently at ABS-CBN Compound, ELJ Building QC and it is evident that the visual scenes are so clean and static "We've started this project since December of last year and January palang where doing the CGI na and it has been non-stop, can you imagine how extensive that was" direk Onat shared.

We all knew that Marian has a neck problem in the past, but she assured that she's okay and taking maintenance medicine for it "May harness po kami dito, and yung mga stunts and everything ginawa po namin ni ate Ai ng maganda. I share ko lang din po na nag-train po kami dito ng halos 3-months for the stunts, so talagang kinarir po namin yung mga fight scenes po namin, at sinigurado po talaga ni direk na mag mukha kaming mga Kung Fu" Marian divulged. 

Ai Ai is equally talented not only in comedy and drama, but also in fighting scenes "Naka-harness kami mostly at may part dun nag 360 degrees kami, mahirap lalo na umaarte ka na green lang ang nakikita mo and yung mga kalaban namin dito mga Kung Fu, stuntman talaga galing China, so ang titigas ng mga katawan nila so pag tinamaan mo para silang mga kahoy so mahirap lalo na para sa aming mga babae".

The movie also stars Roderick Paulate and Edward Mendez "I have battle scars and hindi na maiiwasan yun eh, and as much as possible I wanted to do my own stunts hangga't kaya and fortunately nagawa ko naman. Added to that sa mga fight scenes hindi maiiwasan ang nagkakatamaan talaga and pag-dating ko sa bahay, may mga pasa-pasa ako but that's fine with me it's part of my work" the latter said.

Andi Eigenmann as "Galema" on Kapamilya Gold starting Sept 30

Andi Eigenman charms afternoon TV viewers as half-snake vixen, Galema. Andi plays several roles on small screen like Agua Bendita and more. This year Andi is the "Galema, Anak ni Zuma". The new TV series is under the award-winning director Wenn Deramas.

As part of ABS-CBN's 60th years of Philippine television, Galema is another network's pride and special offering of a well-loved komiks tales. This Pinoy komiks series is written by Jim Fernandez, that will portray the life specially, about family and love of Galema who was born with a twin snake that is literally attached to her neck hiding behind her long hair and beauty.

Direk Wenn will elaborately explain to show where Zuma originated as well as Galema "Kapag si Zuma lang sya lang, pero pag kinuha mo ang kwento ni Galema bitbit mo si Zuma, so nasakop namin lahat, yung matabang kwento, masarap manuorin na kwento ay naduduon talaga kay Galema, kasi buong buo yung kwento na kung pano ang isang halimaw eh nabuhay sa mundo ng mga tao".

Andi admittedly train to be with snakes and cobra, surrounded herself with these animals to act and express the right emotion on the series "Sinigurado ko po na masasanay ako to be around the snakes and cobras, like yung ginawa ko po sa trade launch, hinawakan ko po sila and hinalikan ko pa po".

Let us all watch the TV series starting on September 30, 2013 and follow the life of Galema on how far would she go to win the love of her family and earn the respect of people that surrounds her.

"Sa ka una-unahang pagkakataon, ito yung masasabi kong pinaka masayang movie na nagawa ko on my entire years in the industry, in fact ang aga-aga ko sa set palagi kasi aside from para makapag make-up ka at ma-relax, i am looking forward sa mga chismisan at chikahan namin" [Laughs] "to make the story short gusto ko lang talaga ng chismis" the Diamond Star said. 

Eugene Domingo made several films in the past, but this is her first time to work with Maricel "certainly, certainly, certainly she is a great actress, from a young age na nag simula sya yung talent a yun given na, pinagtibay na sya ng maraming maraming seasons, lahat ng klase ng roles, pelikula, even hair style and fashion napag daanan na nya".

"Kaya sya tinaguriang diamond because she is forever" Eugene divulged.    

Movie also stars Billy Crawford  and Andi Eigenman in a roles being the son and daughter of Maricel and Eugene respctively "The best of the best, first time ko silang makatrabaho but I've watch their movies and I am always be a fan. The professionalism is always there. Alam nyo ba? si ate Maria, mas nauuna pa sa mga nag-seset-up ng mga ilaw and cameras. Palagi kaming nagbobonding sa tent, si ate Uge din, I learn so much every single day when I am with them" Billy shared.

"It's an honor to be able to work with the both of them and whenever you go on set i am looking forward to learn again and gain another learning experience from them" Andi said

It is so fun to talked to happy and beautiful individuals in conferences like this and I am sure it will reflect also on the project that involved in.
