Pampanga is known for having delicious cuisine and mouth watering delicacies, so a visit for the opening of Cocina Centrale, deserves a big yes answer from me :)). A two hour drive from Manila is worth the wait, especially if the harmonious sound, spacious area and inviting smell of grilled foods are around.
Before the opening program of the ribbon cutting, we had a chance to roam around the place and take pictures of the non-stop preparation of foods. Almost 25 vendors are present that day and mind you, me and blogger friends had a hard time to decide which one we should try first. Aside from variety of food and delicacies the prices are so affordable and they all have generous serving.
The co-founder of the Mercado Centrale Group, RJ Ledesma welcomes everyone by saying "This is our first food market outside Metro Manila and Kapampangans deserve to showcase their best foods and delicacies for everybody, so enjoy".
The co-founder of MCG and awesome blogger, Anton Diaz explains how they choose vendors and said "All applicants undergo a taste test and they will be chosen in three major factor it must be unique, innovative and delicious".
The event also attended by Kapampangan chefs whose dishes have been huge crowd drawers, like Chef Sau Del Rosario (Paella from Villa Cafe) and Chef Claude Tayag (Pan de Bagnet from Bale Dutung. The vendors includes Crunchy Belly, Dad's Moms, Cheat Day, Maila's Lutong Bahay, Maila's Shawarma, Larizza's Grille, Kebab Santos, Wings/Rhum, Pabalan Delicacies, Carreon's Sweets and Pastries, Nutriafoods, Minerva Variety, Nuts N Less, Aiza's Sweets, Mr. Park's Bread, Heavenly Sweets, Eagle's Nest, French Crepes, Sugar N Spice, Koko Buri, Jiin Bakery, Luring's, Paburrito, Ramburrito, Wiches, Moms 101 and Organic.
You can also try to hang out with your family and friends at Cocina Centrale, Pampanga and you will end up planning your next visit, just like me hehe. Don't forget to try the fresh and grilled food, burger, and also for the dessert pastries and cakes. Enjoy :))
