Star Cinema proudly presents the big screen debut of the famous love team of today, Daniel Padilla and Kathryn Bernardo also known as KathNiel on "Must Be...Love". Seen together at various successful TV series of ABS-CBN and top grossed film like SisterakaS, but different KathNiel will be seen in this movie.
Must Be...Love is a romantic film that tells a story of bestfriends Patchot (Kathryn) and Ivan (Daniel) who involve in different kinds of love. Patchot with her father, Ivan with his crush Michelle as well as Patchot and Ivan themselves.
Recently, I was one of the fortunate bloggers who was invited to interview KathNiel, the director of the film Dado Lumibao and one of the writers Ms. Melai Monge. This is the first directorial movie of Direk Dado "Unang pag-gawa ko din ito ng pelikula, sa 'Princess and I' ko lang sila nadederek tapos nung sinabi sa akin ang ako and mag dederek ng movie nila, syempre may kaba pero alam ko naman ang effort na ibinibigay ng dalawa in terms of acting kaya confident ako".
Both actors were very happy that Star Cinema gave them a chance to prove themselves in the big screen and to take that magic they had from TV series."Nagpapasalamat po talaga kami sa Star Cinema kasi pinagkatiwalaan po nila kami kaya po, yung effort na ginawa namin sa teleserye eh doble pa po para sa pelikulang ito" Kathryn said.
Since they have done a lot of scenes at tv series and some movie, they shared that they already comfortable in working to each other."Sobrang close napo talaga kami ni Kath, alam napo na'min kung papaano magtulungan. So nung ginawa po na'min yung movie, no other discoveries and revelations na ang nangyari sa tagal na na'min magkasama wala napo talaga eh." Daniel shared.
Movie written by Mae Chua and Melai Monge, the latter shared her inspirations making the story and script "Nagkaroon na ng maraming teen movies before pero this time, we try to portray what is the young generations today, na ganito ung pinagdadaanan, kasi iba na talaga eh, napapansin din naman na'tin iyon eh".
The movie offers not only a story of teens in love, but also the story of hearts wherein, one thing has one thing that can solve all their problems it "Must Be ...Love". The movie also stars John Estrada, John Lapus (watch out also for his role), Liza Soberano, Arlene Mulach, Miguel Morales, Kit Thompson, Ramon Christopher, Janus Del Prado, Paul Salas, Cacai Bautista and Sharlene San Pedro.
