KZ Tandingan: The First X Factor Philippines Grand Winner

The biggest and grandest music event of the year was ended last Sunday and for almost three months duration of the show, audience and televiewers were so glad to be part of it as they vote and cheer for their favorite contestants weekly. 

I am grateful also to watch it live on its last four consecutive weeks at PAGCOR Grand Theater, Paranaque City which serve as their home. Me, together with my co-bloggers, witnessed how busy and professional the crew and staff of the show. From the Director Mr. M which stayed cool all the time but always had an idea if necessary, Mr. Alex to repeat and run the sequence with lights and all, Mr. Waldo whose always on the stage to assist the host and contestants during rehearsals and recognizes us and ask if we enjoyed the show, Ms. Rose who's always busy walking to and from but had a smile in her face whenever she sees us and many more.

We observed how contestants prepared from clothes, make-up, hair and song that they will performed for a particular week. Moreover the friendship and humbleness on their hearts, so we really felt how hard they cry when elimination day came. 

X Factor Philippines Grand Finale happened last Sunday and it was really grandeur from singer guests, performances and production numbers. Saturday was the performance night but it was the night also that I saw Lani Misalucha perform live and I was in ahh.. I saw the rehearsals of her number with the participants two times but still, I was able to move when she gets in her dressing room again lang hehe.. The performances was great from duets with the music icons (Bamboo, Nina and Rico J), down to their individual songs. Vina Morales also has a sexy and a great production number.

Sunday came and all are ready for the biggest and awaited announcement of all, the first X Factor Philippines grand winner. The night was full of non-stop performances from KC Concepcion, guests(Pooh, Osang, K Brosas, April Boy, Jed Madela, Eric Santos, Angeline, Yeng) performances with participants, Final 12, heart warming mentor-mentees duets and judges unbelievable number. 

Then the time came and KZ Tandingan was the first X Factor Philippines grand winner who won 4M Php. It is the biggest prize in a Philippine singing competition ever. Congratulations KZ and also to the first and second place, Gabriel Maturan and Daddy's Home respectively.
