Chef's Noodle's Newest Endorsers, "Semerad Twins" & "Down To Mars"

I love all about Korea from food (bulgogi), clothes (jacket), TV series (most specially), KPOP and more. One of my dreams is to visit Korea and have a first hand experience of everything they have there. Filipinos welcome them so dearly and even addicted into it the first time hehe..and that includes me by the way. That is the reason why I was one of the happiest people when Koreans (celebrities) visit our country or a new Korean Restaurant was opened.

My friend who is a teacher in La Salle Taft once set-up a meeting at Chef's Noodle and told me I would really love the place and I definitely did. That's why when, my co-blogger Cha Sy invited me to see the endorsers of the said restaurant which will be having a photo shoot with the products, I grab the opportunity. Bloggers were invited at the said event and despite heavy rain with typhoon signal number 1 in the Metro, it didn't stop us from attending, moreover in my case which I have to visit a friend in the hospital (glad she didn't know).

The hardcourt hotties Semerad twins (Anthony and David) and the country’s first inter-pop music group, Down to Mars are the new additions to  Chef's Noodle's lineup of celebrity endorsers that made a photo shoot at Elite Studio in Makati headed by the featured photographer Doc Marlon Pecjo. Colorful dresses wore by Down to Mars holding a colorful bowl of Chef's Noodles menu. The shoot was organized and I can see that the guys are happy and having fun. 

Then the Semerad twins arrived at the venue and we had a chance to ask them some questions before their turn into the camera. "We are very glad that Chef's Noodle chose us because we love Korean foods especially the Bulgogi Leek Jun and Chef's Noodle soup" the twin said. "We are very much excited for the shoot despite my injury, because Chef's Noodle team is so nice to us" David said. The twins are very accommodating and even allow us to have a photo of their body tattoo and smiles never leave their faces. I don't have a chance to interview any of the Down To Mars members because they still working and I have to rush into the hospital as well. Maybe next time and I will shared it to you also.

Suddenly Its Magic Grand Presscon

"Suddenly Its Magic" a movie starring Thai superstar Mario Maurer and Philippine sweetheart Erich Gonzales under Star Cinema directed Rory Quintos is about to premiere on October 31, Wednesday at all cinemas nationwide. The Asia is waiting for this movie and the long wait is over now because in two days from now, you will have a chance to see Mario and Erich together in a romantic movie.

The grand presscon was just finished and I have a chance to witness the said event held at Dolphy Theater ABS-CBN Broadcasting Center. The event was full of invited press that wants to see the whole casts and production of the movie. One by one they ask them and i will share some of it.

Mario says that he like Filipina because we are sexy and i almost fell from my seat when he said that. He always has a smile in his face whenever he answers a question and the casts also like him because he is very nice. He learned and brag the word "Sabeee" which was taught by Kakai and Joross. They asked if he will fall in love in a Filipina, "secret" he said.

"A Beautiful Affair" Premieres Tonight

To continue the celebration of 10th Year Anniversary of John Lloyd Cruz and Bea Alonzo as partner on movie and TV, brings you the newest ABS-CBN Primetime Bida Teleserye "A Beautiful Affair". This is another surprise that I've been talking about after the successful movie 'The Mistress' John Lloyd and Bea, a teleserye that will start tonight October 29 after Ina Kapatid Anak. Directed by Katski Flores, together with other actors and actresses like John Estrada , John Arcilla, Jim Paredes Maritoni Fernandez, Janus Del Prado, Slater Young, Megan Young, Dimples Romana, Ana Roses and more.

Last night, me together with other blogger friends had a chance to watch the two-week episode of the newest teleserye on its advance screening at Trinoma Cinema 7. The whole casts, friends and supporters of the teleserye were present headed by the main character Leon(JL) and Genevive ( Bea).

The story of romance, found each other at the romantic place of Vienna, Austria, faith keeps them together and rest is story as they return in Manila. Leon which keeps him apart from the world bearing the guilt from a tragic accident and Gen which heart was broken by a long time boyfriend. Find as they fight, return and keep their feet stand to walk forward again. 

You should not missed the first episodes of the teleserye for you to have a proper guide of the story. Don't forget it will start tonight and although I've seen it last night I will definitely watch it again hehhe..

"Suddenly It's Magic" Filipino-Thai Romance Showing on October 31

In two days, the most-awaited Filipino-Thai romantic film "Suddenly Its Magic" is about to be shown on cinemas in October 31. Starring Thailand's  Mario Maurer and Erich Gonzales under Star Cinema. A film by Rory B. Quintos and written by Vanessa Valdez.

Last week, a blogger's conference with Ms. Vanessa Valdez was held at Star Cinema office at ABS-CBN compound. We had a chance to have an exclusive interview with the movie's script writer Ms. Valdez which only has 10 days to finished the script of the film, story made by Mr. Enrico S. Santos. The determination and focus made her finished the script knowing the particular actor/actress and bearing the ending of the movie in mind.

"Two people who are involve in creating magic but in a different ways, Marcus (Mario) with cinematic magic, that makes you believe when he acts on the other hand Joey (Erich) creates magic on the cakes that she made, but they are both disappointed by love until they find each other" Vanessa said stating the heart of the story which specifically made for Mario and Erich. "They are very strict with a story line and script, you can't easily manipulate it, like the one were doing with the flow of teleserye or Filipino movies" she reiterated.

Ms. Valdez shared that Mario is very a intelligent actor and ready to learn "The rap scene on the trailer, pinag-aralan talaga nya at bigay na bigay sya, pero dumaan yun sa mga revisions kasi hirap talaga at first so nung tinawagan ako, gawa agad ako ng bago tapos transcribe into Thai ulit, which he did best naman" Ms. Valdez said with a smile. I saw that in trailer and I find it cute..that was one of the scene I am looking for also hehe...

Mario can also relate with his character knowing that his father is deceased and with a Filipino friend which he always told everybody. "Sobrang minahal din ng crew ang bata kasi mabait sya, he even seat down and laugh with them at kinukwento nya yung Filipino friend nya, gusto ko yun makilala actually, not sure if he's going with Mario at the premiere but his mom confirmed the arrival" Ms. Valdez shared.

The entire Philippine shot was done in Ilocos and Bangkok Thailand, showing the beautiful and romantic scenery of each country makes the movie more interesting. "Writing about two different cultures is difficult, the Thai council is very strict and the Thai council is there every shooting day, so I avoid the cultural part of each character to avoid conflict" Ms. Valdez.

A morning with Ms. Vanessa Valdez is very interesting she has many insights that we learn about the movie and making a movie story or script. "There's no project done twice its always different, it should be different  and realistic" she said. "For me, the good films are the ones that don't feel written but feel like actually happen in real life, the more you dont feel the screenplay, for me its a better movie, if hindi ko nararamdaman na isinulat siya, yung natural lang na, ganun talaga magsalita ang mga tao, and as I grow old I avoid the quotable quotes eh hehe..." Ms. Vanessa Valdez concluded, the writer who didn't stays at home to write but at Starbucks with an open laptop, a sheet of paper and pen before she starts a story.

Run United Philippine Marathon on October 28 at SM MoA

Three to five years ago fun run in the Philippines reaches its highest registrants in every running event nationwide, that includes the Run United which was made in a series to accommodate running enthusiast and to promote an active lifestyle for a better and healthy Filipino.

Winners of GARNIER "Get Active Campus Challenge"

The Garnier Get Active Campus Challenge has a main goal of promoting youth activeness for their voices to be heard and for their fresh ideas put into action. Since youth is the stage of life that's been known to be active, idealistic and cooperative, as well as college is about finding your own calling. It is a perfect moment to support and guide them, that's why Garnier took this opportunity to be with them as they own campaign reigns their own school or community.

Recently, one among nine schools was awarded the best campus challenge of the year. The awards night was hosted by Atom Araullo and Garnier ambassador Georgina Wilson at ENDERUN Taguig City. The nine finalists includes; St.Paul University QC (The "G" Project), Assumption College (Eco-static Saturday), University of Sto. Tomas (UST Tiger Games), Polytechnic University of the Philippines (It's Our Time To Shine), University of Mindanao (Small Spaces, Big Returns), Siliman University (Gear Up, Garnier's Eco Amazing Race, Cebu Institute of Technology (Greening the Maroon and Gold) and University of the Philippines Diliman (Juan Youth).

The night was full of inspiration and wisdom from the representative of each school who had a chance to talk more about their projects and I also learn a lot from them as well. Hopefully this campaign will continue to boost the youth's capability and motivate to good for their community as well as our country. Once I got home early, I've making sure that I tuned at ABS-CBN News TV Patrol to keep me update and aware of what's happening in our country. TV Patrol news anchors, Noli De Castro, Korina Sanchez and Ted Failon never fail to show me how passionate they are in their chosen field by bringing excellent delivery of the latest news.

My favorite part is the CCTV Patrol which shows the collections of videos that was captured by the citizens. Rags2Riches by Aranaz's NUDOS Holiday Collections

Rags2Riches Inc. (R2R) is a for-profit social enterprise based in Manila, Philippines, creating eco-ethical fashion and home accessories out of upcycled scap cloth, indigenous, and organic materials by working with artisans from community-based enterprises across the country and designer Amina Aranaz- Alunan is a Filipino bag designer and School of Fashion and the Arts (SoFA) co-founder joined together for  the newest collection ever.

The Nanays from the Payatas community share the night with Amina Aranaz Alunan during the launch of the Rags2Riches Holiday Collection  by Aranaz at the North Court of the Power Plant Mall in Makati. Recently, they launched ARANAZ Holiday Collection 2012 entitled "Nudos" meaning Knots. This is the second collaboration of RIIR and ARANAZ and it definitely exudes boldness and enduring elegance as we witness, wear and touch the texture of each master pieces together with style icons,fashion enthusiast, friends, press and online writers. The said launch was held at the North Court of Rockwell Center’s Power Plant Mall in Makati City. 

Renowned bag and accessories designer Amina Aranaz Alunan is photographed with her muses for her creations in the new Holiday Collection by Aranaz for Rags2Riches during the collection’s launch at the North Court of the Power Plant Mall at Makati City. With Amina are top fashion bloggers Tricia Gosingtin, Camille Co, Danika Navarro, Alyssa Lapid, Patricia Prieto, and Kryz Uy. The collections was presented by RCBC Diamond MasterCard, Visual Mannequin Solution (VMS) and Power Plant Mall and are set in a black and metal fine dining table, which served as a meal for whoever hungry for fashion and style. The holiday collaboration are the sumptuous colors and intricate weaving techniques that were highlighted in all the accessories. RIIR by ARANAZ Nudos collections includes: 

“Amara,” a braided clutch with wooden frame accent, removable antique chain strap and magnetic closure;
“Lazada,” a molded clutch in abaca with braided trim detail and knotted cotton flap with magnetic closure; 
“Sobre,” an envelope clutch in x-small basket weave, jute flap and knotted braided accent with interior pocket; and 
“Cartera,” a purse in knitted cotton x-small basket weave, knotted ball puller and cotton lining with interior pocket. 
“Pulsera,” a cuff bracelet with knotted braid accent and vachetta leather with golden snap closure, simply commands attention. 
“Lazo,” a necklace with three cotton knot pendants, braided cotton strap with braided string, antique chain and suede string accents, is reminiscent of vintage sophistication. 
“Cuello,” a knotted cotton braid choker with braided string, antique chain and suede string strap, transcends the unique balance of restraint and innovation.
