My husband is a red wine lover since he was diagnosed with hypertension and the only alcohol or recommended for him is white or red wine. Every other day he takes a sip of wine with dinner or before we sleep. He said that it relaxes him and relieve his alcohol craving. Sometimes, I shared with him and take moments with wine that's the reason why variety of red wine brands are available in our home. Oftentimes, I can't bear with the bitter taste of it, as a result I put an ice to lessen the bitterness. Good to know that Carlo Rossi brings a sweet taste of wine - Rossi Sweet Red.
Last week at Richmond Hotel, Eastwood City the Rossi Sweet Red of Carlo Rossi, was launched. It is the latest kind of wine that Emperador Distillers, Inc. brought to market to fit the Pinoy taste and change the way we appreciate wine-drinking. I was one of the bloggers who were invited on the said event with other press people and executives of Emperador Distillers. This is the newest kind of wine that Carlo Rossi have on their line.
Managing Director of Emperador Distillers Von De Torres welcomed the attendees, followed by explaining the reason why they made a particular product. "There is now a growing acceptance for wine-drinking resulting in a burgeoning market, especially among women and can also attributed as its health benefits but here in the Philippines, sweet wines are still preferred over dry wines" said De Torres. She reiterated that "This is the reason why Emperador Distillers decided to launch Rossi Sweet Red, which is what real sweet red wine that crafted from grapes grown in California's sun-drenched vineyards, Rossi Sweet Red amazingly burst with flavor and aroma".
Product Manager Edward Gador explained the history of Emperador Distillers Inc., and its finest products throughout the years. "Carlo Rossi is good, honest wine with superior quality for 30 years" said Gador.
Of course we did not let that night over without tasting the new Rossi Sweet Red, and it did not failed my pallete's expectations because it has a soft and sweet flavors of vanilla, cherry and wild rasberry that i can taste with every sip. The right alcohol content that fits to woman like me and it has velvety finish. I also tried to put an ice on it, because I am used to cold wine and it really taste better "On the Rocks" hehe..It does not even affect the richness and deep red color. I will surely recommend it to my friends and I am even excited to open a bottle with them.
