My husband is a red wine lover since he was diagnosed with hypertension and the only alcohol or recommended for him is white or red wine. Every other day he takes a sip of wine with dinner or before we sleep. He said that it relaxes him and relieve his alcohol craving. Sometimes, I shared with him and take moments with wine that's the reason why variety of red wine brands are available in our home. Of course we did not let that night over without tasting the new Rossi Sweet Red, and it did not failed my pallete's expectations because it has a soft and sweet flavors of vanilla, cherry and wild rasberry that i can taste with every sip. The right alcohol content that fits to woman like me and it has velvety finish. I also tried to put an ice on it, because I am used to cold wine and it really taste better "On the Rocks" hehe..It does not even affect the richness and deep red color. I will surely recommend it to my friends and I am even excited to open a bottle with them.

Food Bazaar at The MARKETPLACE Eastwood Citywalk

The Marketplace at Eastwood Citywalk is a midnight food market that caters mostly call center employees, E-Commerce people within the area and people that will bound to Eastwood late at night. Opens from 6PM to 3AM,  Marketplace is open for people who wants to taste various foods aside from the ones they usually have around the area. Like me, which happens to visit the place for a particular event and then invited to the place to indulge in foods.

Food and beverage entrepreneur gathered in one roof, located at Eastwood open parking area to prepare sumptuous food that will encourage you to go back again. From affordable meals, barbeques, pastries and more. Let me start of what we had for that evening..

A variety of rice meals from Tita Carol's food stall like spam and egg, pork and tortang talong and my pork bbq which I find tender and they have generous serving of rice.

You can also have big chicken from Daddy Totoy's with a sauce that will make you eat more and more rice, shawarma and also may favorite Adobo which you can have at Three Sisters.

You must try the generous serving of fish soup and liempo bbq from Aloha Grill, it is freshly grill upon order but I can tell you that it is worth the wait. A must try also is the one of a kind balamban liempo from the name itself.

I like siomai and you will never failed to find it here as well as reasonably price serving of Sbarro's finests. What I really like about here, is the way they prepare and present their food but without compensating the taste and quality of it.

Since -Ber months is near and Christmas season is approaching, you can find your simbang gabi companion,the puto bungbong and bibingka which both cooked freshly and hotly hehe...

To complete your night at the Marketplace beverages like milktea, buko shake and fruit juices are all midnight available for you.

So that's it, i think we all walking like a zombie that night due full stomach and hanging-out until 1am. It is a really nice and cozy place to eat, well ventilated and secure. I had a chance to visit the IL MERCANTI Food Bazaar located at Metrowalk, Ortigas City last week and I had a chance to try the merchants food and delicacies. -Ber months is here and for Filipinos its a months of fun, gifts and food. We really like to eat especially if we were with our family, relatives and friends. We always take time to maximize the moment that we had, if given a chance.  

IL MERCANTI Food Bazaar is composed of foods from appetizer, main course and dessert. The line-up of food stalls cater various taste that will satisfy your desire and craving for food.

They offer a series of seafood like tasty shrimp,prawns and grilled fish. They also had fish soup that will comfort you in the cold of the night.

You can feel and travel our country or world in terms of food selections from Itallian Pizza's, Japanese foods on sticks and Ilocos authentic empanada.

For me, the best and a must try is the shawarma wrap, ramen and Filipino foods served with bagoong and grilled vegetable. A healthy and delicious treat that you can have from different food stalls.

Meet lovers will love this place because they have different versions pork from grilled, fried, sinigang and more. The BPO employees also have a chance to carry the food in their offices because you can purchase food which is prepared with plastic containers.

Finally for the dessert, its a place where you can stay up to late at night or early morning and have coffee, shake or fruit juice on the side with almost complete line-up of desserts from cakes, cookies and pastries.

I can tell you, this place is heaven, they even bring ordered food to your  table for you to start the "chitchat" with your friends while waiting. The place is very well ventilated, lighted and cozy. They are open every Friday and Saturday 5:00PM to 3:00AM.

GMA Kapuso Artists As UniSilver Time "TIMEbassadors"

Today, August 26, 2012 GMA Kapuso teen celebrities Derrick Monasterio, Bea Binene, Barbie Forteza, Joshua Dionisio, Enzo Pineda, and Julie Anne San Jose officially became a part of UniSilver family as they signed contracts as endorsers or also known as "TIMEbassadors". I've been following Ms. Vina Morales ever since because I like her as a singer and an actress. She evolved from sweet teen to a woman of sophistication and glamour. When I was invited in Ystilo Salon's 14th Year Anniversary coverage, which I now she's one of the founder, I immediately grab this chance to see her personally.

I'm sure they are all excited to cut and style hair of their costumers.

HUBO Productions and UNO Magazine Recently Sign a Deal for Commemorative Video

UNO Magazine is a men’s lifestyle magazine that covers men’s interest that ranges from women, sports, cars and other vehicles, gadgets, career, fashion to fitness. It aims to publish relevant topics that its target market will find fun, useful, inspirational and intelligent. On its 9th year in the business, HUBO Productions and UNO Magazine (5 Leaf Publishing Co., Inc.) has recently signed an agreement to produce a video production that will accompany UNO Magazine’s on its 9th Anniversary issue. As a result, the group of UNO has planned a commemorative special collector’s edition issue and a grand celebration with theme “UNOversity -- Back to Basics” for the festivities. 

UNO Magazine Managing Director Maan Ilustre said “UNOversity theme is a Grand Alumni Homecoming of anything and everything UNO. It is a Pep Rally of sorts for everything we have done. We are closing the chapter of the last 9 years and entering a new exciting era.”  She reiterated and expressed excitement with this initial collaboration with HUBO. Ida Ceniza-Tiongson, HUBO board member, represented HUBO in sealing the partnership. Says Ceniza-Tiongson “HUBO has always been open to collaboration that would challenge and expand our artistic reach and this venture is one of them. HUBO Productions, on its sixth year, sees this project as an expansion from its core film ventures to solidify its multi-media status. To date, HUBO has released three-full length films, with two that are in post-production work. It has ventured to produce a soundtrack that featured emerging Philippine independent bands, co-presented theatre works both in New York City and Manila, and supported other independent films and music video. HUBO has also championed a visual arts exhibition in Salt Lake City, Utah, sponsored a dance festival in Seattle, and has been instrumental in organizing a fitness flashmob in the Philippines.

All Set for the Third Leg of the Runrio Trilogy 2012 on September 16 - The Run United 3

Run United is back, after a nearly three-month break. And as the cliché goes, ‘the third time is a charm’. Last year, in fact, a record number of runners estimated at over 14,000 participated in Run United 3.

Run United 3, the third leg of the Run Rio Trilogy, has always been much anticipated because it offers what is dubbed as the ‘Afroman distance’ or 32k category—not usually included in other run races. Of course, on top of the other race categories: the Ceelin 500m dash, 3k, 5k, 10k, and 21k.

“The 32k Afroman Distance in RU3 can be a preparatory race for the full 42.195km category in the upcoming 1^st ever Run United Philippine Marathon slated on October 28. RUPM will still have the shorter categories: 500m dash, 3K, 5K, 10K, and 21K.” said Alex Panlilio, Head of Unilab Active Health (ULAH).

Meanwhile, according to premiere race organizer Coach Rio dela Cruz, the runners’ anticipation over Run United 3 will be all worth it as new features and surprises await them on September 16. For one, there will be new routes as well as different starting and finish lines again for Run United 3 in the 21K and 32K categories, like in the previous two races for 21K.

The 32K runners will have a gun start at Bonifacio Global City (BGC) starting at 3am, an hour ahead of the 21k runners. They will be led from BGC to take their first 10k in University Parkway area, then move up to Kalayaan Flyover. Then, they will go all the way down to Buendia, take left at Roxas Boulevard, turnaround taking the roads of Vicente Sotto, Diosdado Macapagal and on to EDSA before finally turning left at Seaside Boulevard for the finish at the Mall of Asia (MOA).       

The 21k will have an earlier gun start at 4am compared to Run United 2’s 430am. They will have the same route as the 32k runners, but instead of going to EDSA they will turn right after Macapagal Avenue, turning right at Seaside Boulevard and then all the way to the finish line in MOA.

“Run United 3 runners will get to run across three cities— Taguig, Makati and Pasay. Based from the feedback we got from them, they really enjoyed the experience and the new routes. The earlier gun start of both race categories will give runners a safer route as well,” said Dela Cruz of RunRio Inc., the race organizer.

Online registration for Run United 3 started on August 6 and will continue until September 2, 2012. In-store registration will start on August 13 and will be up to September 9, 2012. Registration venues include Riovana in BGC and Katipunan, Quezon City; and Toby’s at SM Mall of Asia and Trinoma.

The runners will receive their complete race kits upon registration (Active Health Sun Visor, Singlet, Bib with B-Tag and wrist tag for 500m dash runners). The wrist tag for 500m dash kid’s runner which is usually given on race day will now be included in their race kits upon registration.

Run United 3, which is for the benefit of Gawad Kalusugan and Children’s Hour, is part of the ULAH running series. Run United started with only 8,000 runners when it was launched in March 2010 and the numbers have steadily grown in succeeding events. An estimated 14,000 runners participated during its last offering— at 2012 Run United 2.

Run United 1 on March 4 started off this year’s RunRio Trilogy, followed by Run United 2 last June 17. Runners who completed all the longest distances (21k-21k-32k) in all of the three Run United races will be recognized at the RunRio Trilogy Awards Night.

"Just One Summer " Special Screening

Last Wednesday August 15, 2012 is the first day showing of a romance-drama film "Just One Summer", and I got a chance to attend the special screening at Gateway Mall Cinema 1 7PM with other bloggers and supporters of the film. In fact I was so excited also to watch the movie because I like Julie Anne in Party Pilipinas and saw her live performing on stage at OMG Yahoo! Awards. 

Just One Summer was directed by Mac Alejandre and starred by a love-team teen sensation Julie Anne San Jose and Elmo Magalona. The movie is about a rich and rebellious son Niel (Elmo) that spends summer with his father Dan's (Joel Torre) farm together with them is Dan's mistress Melissa (Cherry Pie Picache). At first Neil hates to be with his father because he accuse that, his father left them for a farm only. But when he met again his childhood friend Beto (Julie Ann) the world turns 180 degrees and all are change for good because Beto always there for him and him for her amidst family problem and conflicts.

I like the movie because Julie Anne didn't fail my expectations, because after i saw the movie, i can say that she is a versatile artist from singing, dancing and now she did it in the big screen, BIG Time. Her tears are flowing instantly specially in drama scenes and she can delivered a long dialogue with enormous feeling. Elmo was good also, however, he's hesitant to gave more feelings in acting with his long dialogue esp. with the scenes together with his mother Leona (Alice Dixson). Aside from the fact that he's soooo cuteee.. the confrontation scene with his drunk father is very good and of course the scenes with Julie Ann. They are more comfortable and can deliver great acting if they were together, I think it really comes out natural because they have special feelings for each other. I can definitely see it in they're eyes on and off screen. Why did I say that? its just because they surprised their fans right after the movie ended and enter the Cinema 1.. and the rest follows...excitement here and there...shouting JuliElmo everywhere..the crowd just really loved them..And they render a song and act live for them to say thank you and show how much they love their fans.

Bryan Termulo at His Second Album "Hanggang Ngayon"

The Prince of Teleserye Theme Songs Bryan Termulo now releases his second album "Hanggang Ngayon" from his debut album under BWB Records and Music Production Inc. in 2010, he doesn't stop the race up to now. From a former contender of Pinoy Pop Superstar of GMA to a member of ABS-CBN ASAP 2012's Boys R Boys, he made his mark in music industry and gained recognition not only in our country as PMPC Star Awards for Music nominee for New Male Recording Artist of the Year but also got 2 silver and 1 bronze medals from 2010 World Championships of Performing Arts.

For his second album which was release recently, I had a chance to witness his remarkable voice in live performance because the production did a Bloggers Conference last Monday at the Moomba Restaurant Quezon City. Right after my work , I go straight to the venue and the big tarpaulin that was posted inside which Bryan Termulo in it gave me more excitement. One of my reasons I watch ASAP is the singing performances and I saw the said album was launch last Sunday. 

Aside from singing, his acting is also commendable. before he became an ABS-CBN's Kapamilya, he appeared in GMA soap All My Life. Then when he transferred Wansapanataym, Budoy (Ryan) welcomes him and now he will be in Judy Ann Santos-Agoncillo's upcoming drama series Againts All Odds together with powercasts including Sam Milby, KC Conception, John Estrada, Mylene Dizon, Jessy Mendiola, Joseph Marco, Mr. Tirso Cruz III and Ms Coney Reyes.

The time was started and we all listen tentatively as he perform the first song, I like the way he perform because he gives the right emotion and intensity of voice that is appropriate for a particular song. Then he welcomes the bloggers and even recognizes some member of us who helped him promote his album. I gave up when he sang the Dadalhin, which I personally like. He also gave time for all of us to sign the album and took pictures individually. That was a great night with a great singer and person like Bryan Termulo, with the voice, passion, personality and spirit that he has, I know he will go further on his dreams with this field and will open new opportunities, in fact he signed an endorsement with Cetaphil, the #1 recommended brand of cleansers and moisturizers.

ONE FIGHTING CHAMPIONSHIP's FULL FIGHT CARD FOR ONE FC: PRIDE OF A NATION

Asia’s largest Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) organization ONE Fighting Championship™ (ONE FC) has officially confirmed its much anticipated fight card for ONE FC: PRIDE OF A NATION which will take place on 31 August at the historic SMART ARANETA Coliseum in Quezon City, Philippines. ONE FC, in partnership with Universal Reality Combat Championship™ (URCC), has put up an impressive line-up of matches. 

The card features DREAM Champions Shinya “Tobikan Judan” Aoki and Bibiano “The Flash” Fernandes. Aoki is the most deadly submission grappler in MMA and Fernandes is ranked amongst the best bantamweight fighters in the world. Both are well-known as astounding athletes with a huge fan base amongst Asian and international fans alike. Aoki’s opponent is due to be announced shortly while Fernandes will take on Cage Fighting Championship (CFC) Australia Bantamweight Champion Gustavo Falciroli.

In addition, two former UFC Heavyweight Champions will meet for the fourth time in a grudge match that has escalated over the years. Andrei Arlovski and Tim Sylvia will clash in Manila after a series of fights that saw Sylvia lose the first bout, and subsequently win back-to-back fights against the tough Belarusian. Sylvia is currently in the midst of a three-fight winning streak and has won seven of his last eight bouts.

Plus, for the first time, the legendary Gracie family will be represented thrice in one fight card. Rolles Gracie takes on Tony Bonello, Igor Gracie will battle Korea’s Jung Hwan Cha and Gregor Gracie will look to get back to his winning ways when he goes toe-to-toe with Nicholas Mann. In Manila, the three members of the “Royal Family of MMA” will be fighting to honor the legacy of the Gracie family name.
