The World Fair Trade Organization (WFTO) is the global representative body of over 350 organizations committed to 100% Fair Trade. It is the only global network whose members represent the Fair Trade chain from production to sale. From different country of every continent it operates and maintains its advocacy and policy through worldwide campaign and monitoring to eradicate poverty in the world.
In WFTO Asia, estimated 90 fair trade organization are striving to help thousands of grassroots producers in the poorest Asian countries. Like here in the Philippines, I had a chance to witnessed the launch of 100% Guilt Free Shopper campaign at Shangri-la Plaza that aims to inform consumers that they have the power to beat poverty, climate change, discrimination, exploitation and ignorance by a very simple and easy manner, by switching to be a guilt free shopper through buying WFTO fair trade products, be a volunteer, sponsor and a fundraiser.
Presented also the 100% Guilt Free Shopping Ambassadors, like Jim Paredes (musician) and Rick Manzano (blogger) to name some. The said launched was successful and I will be supporting it for the environment connecting to world for a better and healthy living. MAKE THE SWITCH
