Have you been to Manila Ocean Park (MOP) lately?, well this is your chance to visit them again  because they store a lot of exciting attractions starting this summer.  Get-up there and make your summer more enjoyable than the usual. I had a chance to saw those attractions last April 14.

To start off, the KOI FEEDING TIME or the Koi Nursery. We all know that feeding bottles are for infants which serves as a medium to nurture them aside from their mother. On the other hand, baby animals like puppies, kittens, and calves also used them as well for the same reason. Since MOP wants to bring you a charming, relaxing and fascinating experience you can feed the colorful Koi using feeding bottles. I myself tried it and it was so fun, the Koi literally feeding like they are sucking the facifier continuously, they're all opening mount towards you and its so cute, Its an unforgeable close encounter with Koi. You should try it.

Another exciting attraction is the BIRD PHOTO OP with  a Greater Sulphur Crested Cockatoo ( Dazzle) and Yellow- Fronted Amazon ( Twinkle) watch them as they show you how intelligent and playful they are. Take your souvenir 4R photo with them at 50Php/ bird opens 11am, 12nn,3pm and 4pm daily.

Manila Ocean Park  wants to give Filipinos the opportunity to view and learn about the riches of our marine biodiversity in order to send a strong messages on protecting and conserving heritage our country has been blessed wit.Tiger sharks can also be viewed in close-up encounter within in the so called SHARK ATTACK, wherein you have given 10 minutes to plunge into the realm of nurse sharks staying within a steel cage with wet suit and dive helmet. MOP is against the unnecessary practice of shark finning, which sharks are captured and cut-off fins. As to impart the public about this information and awareness by integrating factors like education, communication campaign, science research programs and resource management for them.

And at night try the Sandbar Seafood & Grill which we had our dinner after a day of fun and excitement. Sandbar Seafood Grill had a Jamaican inspired setting by the bay, the air was so fresh, the food is delicious and you can relax with a couple of cocktails.Open for lunch, dinner and even special parties and events.
